Starbucks, Trainers and Cottages - Ohhh My!

Hello everyone!

Well lots to update my diary on and the reason why I am back! Hubby and I returned home to UK a while ago and are just about to buy our first home with a baby Mars joining the lodge house!

Waiting to do a AIP tomorrow to see how much we can borrow. We are going to "stretch" ourselves as we NEVER want to move again...or well for at least 5+ years! I'm over it :rotfl:

So since I am freaking out about this mortgage and a new baby on the way I am back to my money saving ways with a passion! I will start new diaries once these events all happen as my focus has completely changed since I started this diary. I will FINALLY get to join the mortgage free wannabe board aswell! :beer:

1) I've got a draft budget set up (pending exact mortgage figures)we will hopefully speak to someone tomorrow to see where we stand.

2) I've started a 3 month meal plan! In hindsight it's quite extravagant meals so need to scale them back and make them more realistic for life with a new baby!

3) Quit shopping. Not bought anything except some maternity clothes and a sleep spray and candle. Who am I?

4) Bought our car in cash and got insurance sorted. Just need to get breakdown cover and that will be us sorted for 1 year at least!

That is about it. Our situation is quite unique at the minute so not got much else to say until we get our mortgage sorted and then it is down to business!
