Hi hon. Try to give it a bit longer before writing it off. It must be a huge change and once you have a job you'll settle more.
You have done so well. Good luck with the tests. Keep going. XxOSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Thanks SS! Mr Mars told me that too! He told me once I have got my girls for vino I will be in my element!
Called my best friend and she was like "You will stay for 2 years then you will come home to me!" Gawd it made me miss her even more!!! I will hopefully see her next year as I am her bridesmaid!
Done all the washing today and it has ALL been hung out and dried! Dishwasher currently on.
AND - Mr Mars tax refund came in - AHHHHHHH. They must have heard me moaning in my last post :rotfl:
So I rushed straight over to Tesco bank to pay it off annnnnnnd...
They are down for maintenance!!! Can you believe it? I have the cash sitting here, itching to try and pay down the debt as much as possible, or possibly clear it AND the flipping website is down!!!
I can't believe that we MIGHT be debt free. :money: I can't remember the last time I didn't have debt...! I think I was debt free for like a month in 2011 at some point?!?!

Wow, debt-free moment was quite a while ago. You lucky thing. I'm planning to join you next year. It's going to be hard to keep my MSE ways up I think so I'm going to start planning now. I've let my halo slip this week with my new job celebration, (just a few lunches!), but that's not a habit I want to get back into. I'm going to get back on the wagon today. 😄
Give it time before making a decision. Be open minded, you've nothing to lose. 😄OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

You will do it - the fact that you noticed the lunches means you are a changed person! God when I think of where I was to where I am now I can categorically state I am a changed person when it comes to money!
Well after going to bed and waking it the next day - went to pay credit card annnnnnnnd POWER CUT the whole town, ALL DAY!!! During the night it came on last night. Thankfully our fridge was pretty bare, I had done the washing and the dishes therefore minimal damage.
My sis in law however had done a FULL shop, all in the fridge and freezer that was off for 12 hours - I wonder if everything will still be okay?
So logged on this morning and tried to pay annnnnnd turns out funds havent cleared the account yet :rotfl:
God :A has decided he does not want me to be debt free this weekend.
So Monday or Tuesday I will be DEFT FREE! I need to get back blogging so I will use the power cut and the monumental occasion of being debt free to get blogging!!! :money:
Mr Mars is currently building our shed, purchased as storage for our teeny tiny flat. It actually really helps - the way forward people - A SHED!!! xxxOriginally debt free 27th November 2014 :T

Sheds are great. Ours isn't waterproof so is a spider infested dampfest, but we originally had a storage unit where we put all our junk - it was shed sized. Apparently a lot of people have them to keep their homes tidy. I like the idea of having a home just big enough for all your needs (easy to clean etc) and you have a storage unit - or maybe a shed - with all your junk locked away. My junk really needs sorting out and that is going to be my 2 week Christmas job :-)
Power cuts sound a nightmare. Hope your sis in law food okay and if not hope she's compensated. Are they close by? Do you spend much time with them? We live in the same village as my OH family and at first we probably didn't have much in common but have grown together. We are thinking of moving about 3 or 4 hours away and it will be a wrench for both us I think.
Have a great Sunday Veronica and hope debt free day comes soon - I shall look out for it.OSWL (start 13st) by 30Jun20 6/10

Yeh our neighbour upstairs has a storage unit. I just can't get my head around PAYING for a storage unit...when you could just buy a shed! She has a MASSIVE shed as well :money: :rotfl:
We have got plastic containers and it should hopefully be watertight but going to put some tarp over the top JUST incase as there is a lot of expensive gear will be in there so I want to make sure there are no drips!
Power cut wasn't that bad, got some candles out, some vino and some chocolate :EasterBun and kindle. If I had a hot water bottle it would have been a perfect nightAbout a year ago I bought this charger gadget for when away camping. WHAT A LIFE SAVER. One of those - you are the best buy ever, high five me - kind of purchases. Just as well as my phone battery was dead and my kindle battery! Charged my phone, charged my kindle and charged the ipad. Who needs power :rotfl: so had a cosy wee night. Imagine I didn't have my gadget? I would have been climbing the walls!!!

Thanks ladies! Still waiting on it clearing...arggg!
Today I upped our broadband to unlimited - hate checking and Mr Mars and I's consumption and I watch A LOT of netflix and tv on demand!!!
Also spent £67 on Yorkshire tea bags, kalms tablets and my favourite Macks ear plugs! It is sooooo noisey here at night time! I need the silence. I need the Kalms for when the crazy people in my head start talking to me!
And Mr Mars is going to kill someone if he gets one more bad cup of tea. 2,200 yorkshire tea bags ordered!
I hope the bags are not HUGE as they are going to get delivered to New Zealand!!! xOriginally debt free 27th November 2014 :T
