That's brave hbs. I don't think I want to make that much of a commitment to ink just yet but I've seen some gorgeous back pieces.

I have to be careful where it goes. I have a lot of scar tissue on my stomach from an unfortunate incident with a tree and a lot of stretch marks on my hips, boobs and arms from going through puberty almost overnight. I got my first tat on my hip after 2 very bad years of my life (the attack, redundancy, heartbreak after heartbreak) and it was to remind me that even when things look dark (like my tattoo) they can also become beautiful. That sounds a bit !!!!!! doesn't it? :rotfl:

I've never had a tattoo. I was worried about the permanence, as I change my mind a lot........that is, my tastes have changed a lot over the years.

I might have had a little one somewhere discrete, but then the skin started sagging and I thought, maybe not! Don't really know what I'd have anyway, and I don't like the way they fade. If they stayed nice and bright, I'd be more amenable to the idea.

Pyxis - some dyes don't fade and anyway you can get them retouched. You can also get them done places where the skin sags less, if you really want to. Or not.

Do you think anyone would notice if I had a wee nap?
