Just needed to be heard for a little while

Argh, I've come into the office today and I just want to put my head on my desk and sob. I have to make a phone call and I don't want to. My job has changed from the codemonkey thing I liked, to the system admin side and I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I just feel stressed and overwhelmed and like I need to go home.

Good morning all! My e-cig smells slightly of melon! Or cherry if I use that one instead. WaSp says they smell of fruit sweeties rather than the actual fruits.

As everyone else has said, slowly does it SDW. I lost 4 stone a while back and some weeks I didn't lose anything and others 6 pounds in a week. I was told to make sure that I was eating enough so that my body didn't go into starvation mode. I actually ate more on a diet than I did normally, the difference was rather than eating a couple of very high calorie foods, I was eating 6 small low calorie meals. It was better for my blood sugar to eat that way and I have (loosely) kept it up. If I am out at hospital appointments (or Santa) I need to eat every 2 and half hours, only something like a piece of toast or half a chicken breast and salad but it keeps my sugars even.

This is why I don't use scales, I don't even own any any more. I just go by how tight things are!
Wear the tightest waistband you have, and see how it slowly becomes comfy!

Do you mean that he thinks he doesn't give you enough freedom, or that you think he doesn't give you enough freedom?

If the latter, what does he do to prevent you having as much freedom as you'd like?

I'm wondering if she means, he suspects her, and doesn't trust her so isn't giving her freedom?

Give you cat a cuddle from me, tea! I am slightly tempted to ask the new landlady if we can have pets now but I would either get an old cat, a hamster or a rat as I don't want to find that I have to move in a few years and can't take pets with me. It is difficult to rent with pets, renting with pets and in housing benefit accommodation is very hard. I do really miss having a little furry bundle to cuddle.
