Can WaSp find out about the financial side of things ie if BIL still has access?

I am just wondering BIL could get some kind of 'allowance' from MIL for some token job? Maybe it would soften the blow, if there are these kind of funds available. And if it's in her care plan then it's official. I know it doesn't help him long term but is it such a bad thing if MIL will be guilttripped onto giving him money anyway.

I do think BIL does love her, as I have said he isn't all bad and where he cannot hold down a job for obvious reasons for a long time he identified himself as her carer. That is what he told people he did because it made him feel he had a purpose, now that has all but gone. He does still receive carers allowance to my knowledge so he may still be expected to do some things for her. This could also make him try to help himself, it is unknown territory for all us.

I can ask Wasp to find out if BIL could be more involved (he would need to ask the social workers because I have been told very firmly that I am not to become directly involved with any of this due to my own health), I honestly have no idea what will say, though. Looking at it from an outside perspective social services took all of us and placed us in our specific roles apart from BIL who they have ignored. It is no doubt painful for him, not once did anyone ask to speak with him whereas Milliefleur, her sister, WaSp and I have all been contacted and assessed. This is why I think safeguarding was carried out, if it wasn't then there would have been no reason to exclude BIL so thoroughly because he was a major part of Milliefleur's care previously.

Is there a canine Father Christmas that would account for GudDog? (Or GutDog, if you're half-German)/

That reminds me of a joke I saw a hundred years ago. It only really works in pictures. I'll go and see if I can cobble up a reproduction.

Argh help me. Got my first office christmas lunch today and I have no idea what to wear. Was going to wear a lovely black lace skater dress but the snow outside has turned to ice and so whatever I wear will have to go with snow boots.

    Here are my options:

    1. Go with the dress with thick tights and boots
    2. Wear a purple wrapover midi dress with tights and boots
    3. Wear a shorter version of the lace dress with black skinny jeans or leggings and boots
    4. Wear my usual dress over jeans combos that have been seen a million times
