It was me WaS! I haven't got one yet - a combination of being very busy, then not well, then the paperwork stress etc meant that it got backburnered, but it's in one of the piles of things I've still got to do. And I must, 'cos the SAD is really kicking in, now.

Re. taking pills - I take them, then forget if I've taken them. It's because I take them automatically while I'm thinking of something else!

It's the same with locking the car! When I get home! I go inside and almost always have to go to the window and re-lock the car, 'cos I can't remember if I did it or not!

  • Sorry to hear that it is getting worse, perhaps if you can't get one before you can pick one up in the sales after Christmas? Can't have our Pyxis being miserable!

So far today I have forgotten my medication, tried to moisturise my hands in soap and got confused that it was bubbly, thought it was Monday and got up 3 times for a pair of socks which are still sitting in the drawer in the bedroom. Nope! Just sitting very still today!

Is it your medication making you forget?

Eek! You could be getting a legal high on all the lotions' fumes!

    Hahahahahaha! I could!

It's partly the medication and partly the normal psychosis and immune disorders. I have days like this when my memory won't work, this is mostly why social services are adamant I can't be left alone for more than 4 hours. Cooking or making coffee right now would be potentially hazardous for example. It's the weirdest thing because it as if part of the thought process goes missing as if I have never known it. A common one is getting things out of the oven, I will open the oven door and reach in and grab the pan with my bare hands and even when it burns me I am utterly confused for a while as to why it happened until WaSp says you didn't use an oven glove. The memory doesn't immediately come back with the consequence of the action, I have to be verbally reminded of it. Then I will think of course! I am supposed to do that!I have picked up hot pans with bare hands or plunged them into boiling water so many times but the memory of how to avoid doing so won't stick. It is as if entire chunks of memory cease to exist for a while.

  • Everyone is very quiet today! Good afternoon all :)

I am away for the weekend, so unlikely to be around much. Out in the (cold!) countryside :)

I'm feeling better today. Supposed to be in a small Christmas Review tomorrow, for charity, so must relearn my 'lines' such as they are!
