Its difficult for everyone when things change. But it always amazes me how quickly we then get used to things. In a week or so, all the extra visits and care will seem more normal and the emotions will start to settle.
I may be hormonal....just cried because a Christmas tree on TV was pretty.0 -
It's ok, tea. WaSp cried at episode of Star Trek earlier. He tries to cover it up but he often cries at films and tv, he is very sentimental although you wouldn't expect it if you saw him (think 6'2, broad and bearded. He is great at stopping arguments because everyone backs off if he gets involved on appearance alone).Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Well, sound the fanfares, folks.
This expert procrastinator has finally delivered her accounts to the tax accountant.
Well overdue, of course. And it's only taken me 6months to start it. In the end, it only took me the equivalent of two days, but I've been putting it off for 6months. Admittedly, a lot of illness off and on was partly to blame, but the real reason is that it terrified me. The worst part of it was that some of it would open wounds, and to be fair, I still have some things to do that will be very upsetting, but the main cause for worry, ie the tax deadline, I've now done.
I even, despite not feeling well, have just driven them over, to deliver by hand, an hour's round trip, so as to be really shot of them, but am back in bed now, feeling very relieved.
I just hope I can keep up the momentum and get the other stuff done before I slip back into ostrich mode.(I just lurve spiders!)

Well done, Pyxis! Big hugs, for it being upsetting and you feeling unwell, it must have made it even harder! Now do something nice for yourself, WaS's orders!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Aye aye Cap'n WaS!:D:D I just did!
I just ate two pannacottas!
:D:D
What Star Trek episode was making WaSp cry?
Heartbreak, sorry about your relapse, but don't say 'just tonsillitis' - that can be agony, and can be horribly systemic, as you obviously discovered. Go easy on yourself, as I'm sure you must still be quite weak. Have a pannacotta!
Tealover, I've cried over dafter things than a pretty Christmas Tree!
Code, thanks for the snow proof! And yes, like the boots! I've just brought down my Wellies and my fur-lined winter boots with the extra thick soles, just in case!(I just lurve spiders!)

Oh, great the pharmacist doesn't have my pain medication again. This means WaSp gets to drive around hoping that someone has some. I have a little stockpile of other medications in case this happens but I can't do it with the pain medication because they will only prescribe every 28 days due to it being misused by a lot of people. They have it in tablet form but not soluble, stocks are always very low because hardly anyone takes it, it is even more open to misuse in this form. Pity poor WaSp having to drive to the city centre and walk around it hoping someone has it.
Funnily enough I was going to suggest those, Pyxis!
WaSp cried at the one where Data's creator/father dies, he has a soft spot for Data. He attempted to be hide it in various coughs and claiming his nose was running. Doesn't fool me!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Yay! WaSp found my medication! That worry is over until the new year. He also treated me to two square plates. A silly little wish of mine was to eat off of a square. I know I am odd.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

It is so well acted, it makes me tearful, too. Data is most certainly WaSp's favourite character (yes, he is a Trekkie, too).

Having a square meal is important!
I cried at littlewing's nativity today. Not that I could actually see her. But there was one little dude (shepherd), boogying away - dancing like no-one was watching. The whole production was so well put together and the children loved every minute of it.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0
