Can I borrow him please, oyster? I just need him dressed in red and turning up Christmas Eve preferably with accompanying sleigh bells and I'll be happy?
Aww WaS i feel like kidnapping a santa lookalike and delivering him to you with sleigh and reindeer!

Finally back home after a long day, finishing with an Andrea Bocelli concert, As we've already ascertained I'm a cultural philistine, and although I wasn't there from choice, it wasn't a bad night. I do wish though that operatic types wouldn't do the crossover stuff. Those voices really aren't designed or trained for Elvis numbers.

Wide awake now though, and wondering what to stick on catch up.

PS, for anyone else feeling they're missing out on the pm front, Billy no-mates here averages about one a year.:D

interesting read about the ptsd treatment btw, not heard of that one before, thanks for sharing it.

pps forgot to set the recorder before going out, was Lewis on or has it finished?

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

My teacher friend would be jealous, Andrea Bocelli is one of his favourites.

We could have oyster's OH as Santa and Gitdog with antlers, it would make my Christmas, honest!

I have antlers. When the decorations come out (which is usually a week before Christmas) I will attempt to superglue them to Gitdog's head and post a photo, although I'm anticipating a degree of non cooperation on his part.

  • Hahahahaha! I would so love to see that, elsien! He would look adorable (if reluctant)!

Hmm! I've heard about husbands dressing up as Santa! :D

I agree with the operatic crossover no-no. It really is ridiculous!
As is more than one famous tenor trying to sing together, viz The Four Tenors. It so didn't work. Not only did egos get in the way, but they were four soloists, not a quartet, and it really, really showed! Stick to what you're best at!

Gitdog with antlers. He may co-operate for the antler duration, but I fear you will pay dearly for that afterwards, Elsien!

    Now, Panettone alert!
If you're trying panettone for the first time, do not, repeat NOT, buy M&S's panettone. It is far too sweet, has loads of sugar crystals all over it, and lots of sultanas. It's sickly and horrid. They've ruined a perfectly lovely recipe!
I was hoping to treat myself yesterday, but it was a huge disappointment.
This appears to be the trend for lots of their dessert things, lately. Far too sweet. Shan't bother in future. I think the Coop do nicer treats!

  • Good morning! Loving the pictures, what has Sir P been up to when I am not looking?

Today I am looking at the world through one eye. My eye condition seems to have flared and I woke up with it glued together. It is now sore, itchy and leaking yellow stuff (all together now- yuckkkkk!) I could always put a patch on it and find a parrot and have an early pirate day?
