If you would like to pm me haybel that would be lovely, but don't feel that you have to!

I do read children's books sometimes and I love them! I used to read a book in a day and I really do miss it.

That is lovely JM! Thank you so much! DIY thread? I'm not safe with a kettle. I had better avoid that one in case I get any ideas!

So glad to hear you got some sleep dibuzz! Long may it continue!

If you could choose to do something that your mh issues currently restrict you from doing, what would it be?

ETA: Oh, haybel, if people want to do that, then that would be lovely but I would never ask for it. I don't deserve people making that much effort for me!

OH YES YOU DO! And this is no pantomime! Everybody here thinks you are a lovely person, and you help loads! Before I came online this evening, I was actually thinking about how you make this thread so very, very peaceful, and you draw people to it. :A It's a combination of your total honesty, which translates into total trust in all of us, (which is a huge compliment to us, by the way,) and your ability to write your thoughts in such a way that, not only do you explain succinctly what you are experiencing, but you have the effect of demystifying mental health syndromes and so enabling us to have some understanding of them.

Cor! What a long sentence! :)
The fact people come back and post helps a great deal, I usually expect people to run screaming from me. I am still amazed that this thread is continuing, I truly never imagined this when I started it!

Please reread my super-long sentence! No running screaming on this thread, I assure you! We come back because we get a lot out of it. And that's down to you. The only screaming there'd ever be is if you stopped posting!

Please don't think you've upset us, because you haven't. We just wanted to make sure we hadn't upset you, and now we know we haven't, that's fine! It's because, through you, we're learning about what happens to people who have problems such as yours, and how those problems change the perceptions they might have, and so our understanding improves. I hope that makes sense!

I am a lurker on these threads. Most generally I'm not brave enough to post. I apologise for not being more interactive, but if I could thank Pyxis's post a thousand times I would.

WaS, you are an amazing person and don't you ever forget that.

  • Thats an interesting question, whitewing! There are so many thing I miss. I think that I would have to say going out is the biggest thing. I really do miss little things like feeling a breeze and touching plants and watching the sea. Sometimes I look out of the window and feel imprisoned.

Aww, Pyxis that was lovely! Thank you, so so much! I love the idea that people are getting something out of this thread for themselves, I do hope at least that people find it interesting and it is a safe place for everyone to talk, not just me.

Hello idea! Thank you for being so kind, you really are welcome to post anytime you want to but if you don't that is fine, too! I am really happy that you are reading and enjoying the thread.

    LIR, are you ok today?

Dibuzz, I am hoping that you are having a lovely sleep right now.
