This sounds a bit like a posture problem to me. Are you finding after a few minutes jogging that you are sticking your head/neck forward? I've noticed I am fine for 5 mins but 10 mins & I have a neck problem which travels down.
Very good thought.
Might be worth a session with a trainer who is also a massage therapist and has an interest in biodynamics or similar. Or some other body worker with an interest in exercise performance?0 -
I need a goal and feeling I'm still achieving things amidst the redundancy and job hunting. I think that's my main motivation, so that I can see positives in my situation and feel like I'm making the most out of time off, and not feel like a total failure amidst the job hunting rejections.
Maybe I need more of a runnung goal to aim for (although just keeping breathing is still a bonus at the moment.) Thanks for the other suggestions, I'll see how I go on next time. My route is quite pleasant early morning, until the school kids appear - takes in the local pond so quite scenic. I may test Gitdog out on a light jog and see how we get on.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Just to say that I'm going away for the weekend, and although I'm taking my iPad, I don't know how good the connection will be, so if I don't appear till Sunday night, that's why!

Happy WMHD everyone. We did it proud in my area! (Not that I can take any credit, my staff and those from other organisations arranged it all
)
It does sound as if you need another form of exercise, elsien. How about power walking, or something faster than a normal gitdog walk?Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -
