I've had problems sleeping for a few years now but it's got worse over the last few months.
At first I was sleeping a lot when I changed anti depressants (after 8 years on the old ones) but soon went back to normal and increasing the dose has made it even worse.
My doctor did suggest a sleeping pill once or twice a week but wanted to sort out the increased anti depressants first.
The annoying thing is I take 4 or 5 different things at night that claim to cause drowsiness, I'm sure they are lying to me!

Of course we will have you, haybel! You are one of us now <insert evil giggle>.

That is awful dibuzz, my sleep pattern has been all over the place for years so I do sympathise. Once you get used to the increased dose of anti-depressants a sleeping pill a couple of nights a week could help, you don't have to take them all of the time but it could help to know you definitely have a good nights sleep on the horizon. I have pills that are supposed to make me drowsy and pills that are meant to keep me awake, most work oppositely. They most certainly do lie, they're mean!

A quick wave (sea what I did there :p) from me - just popping in on my way to bed. Having a lovely relaxing time with SIL :)

Yes, I remember now - I was asked for parental email as well on the pug game site! :D

This could be the autobiography WaS, I'm not saying it's easy what you're doing, but it'll save any further stress later on if you try & get everything perfect .... Ya know what I mean when y'all doodling along beautifully then you realize what your doing & it all becomes so much more serious.

I don't quite understand, DUKE. Do you mean that it will be helpful to WaS if she is feeling awful to be able to look back and see how we all feel for her, and how she's coped in the past?

    WaS are you ok today?

I have had a good day. I think all the rest has done me good. I finally 'woke up' properly. At 4:20 this morning:cool: and whether it lasts or not I don't know, but I have done some minor pottering about, tiny little house hold chores. I just started by cleaning the sink, and then thought, well, I could clean the deep freeze too, then had a rest, then did the was honing machine and drier, then thought well, cannot leave these cobwebs in the utility room, and so having done the utility room, did the cobwebs in the kitchen......

Just pottering, but more than I have done with out DH to help and encourage me in a bit I am afraid to say.

I think I hVe rallied just in time. My new meds were delivered today, and the pharmacist phoned me to talk through them. Because of an interaction problem one has been swapped to something we know I have a mild problem with. Annoying, but better than problems with interaction. The one that has high risk of depression ( and which I think has possibly caused me problems) doubles now. So hopefully the strength I found today has arrived just in time. :). When I first went on this one, and it took five weeks to work up to this dose.....(mood problems are its a common problem with this medicine) but is was fine, its only recently I've struggled. So I'm surprised that now its just doubled when I have said how hard I'm finding it.

The consultant who has doubled it is being supportive and said to call or text any time I am in any doubt or have concern. It might be, that like initially, I have no problems at all. So I'm not going to look for them.

Hello all! I will catch up with individual posts in a bit, I am not having a good day and have just managed to get myself upright. I don't believe it is psychosis so don't worry, its side effects of the new medication and withdrawal from the high dose of anti-psychotics. I shall have a coffee (if I can keep it down) and be right with you.
