I shall try that JM or rather my partner will! I have been staring at it in horror rather than managing to do anything practical!

Have a wonderful holiday and wave at the sea for me, it might wave back! (Sea what I did there? and there? I'll stop).

Oh, dibuzz I am so sorry, that little sleep is crippling. You are walking around in a dream after that and not a very pleasant one either. Have another hug. ((((()))))

If you can't sleep properly for the next few days please go back to your doctor. I remember that you had a medication change and sometimes this causes an inability to sleep. You may have had that already but new medication can make it even worse. When I started on anti-depressants I was awake for the first 48 hours and then managed a few hours a night for the first week, it was awful. Do get it checked out if it continues.

Sorry to hear about your dog, animals make things so much better. I still miss my cat and would do anything to have her back and she has been gone for 7 years now.

Dibuzz could you try a guided meditation/ hypnosis?

There are several on you tube. I find one on there really effective, but really don't need it at the moment.

Aw, Duke! What a lovely thing to say! I am still trying to get the courage up to ask for a name change, I need to convince myself that if they say no it doesn't mean that they hate me and wish to banish me from the site. Silly and dramatic I know but my self-confidence isn't particularly great.

The cistern still won't fill up. I am also getting up the courage to email the landlords wife who deals with these things. We actually get on very well and like each other but I still feel as if I am bothering her unnecessarily. My eventual email will be full of sorry's as I fall over myself. I can be assertive with people I don't know well but oddly, once I develop a relationship with someone it is much harder as I become acutely aware of making sure I don't upset or inconvenience them. Did I mention that I am strange?

Also, just for the sake of moaning my neck is in agony, I have painkillers and heat pads everywhere. I don't tend to mention much about my physical health which is actually as dodgy as my mental health because it doesn't really help anyone and therefore feels rather self-indulgent but owwwww. I think when I fell yesterday I aggravated the cervical spondylosis, I was unable to shower today or do my physio exercises because my neck and back just aren't cooperating. End of self-pitying whine.

Go WaS - emails to your landlord wife and request for a name change are within your grasp!

((())) to dibuzz for lack of sleep and to WaS for a painful neck. JM hope you have a great holiday :)

Hello oldestgnome! The pug game is great fun, embarrassingly they asked for my parents email on sign-up. I am 6 again...

Hello LIR, too! I saw you pop up there, hope today is a relatively good day for you.

I am also staring at my email, I will manage to do this!

Just wanted to say I am still here cheering you on... I really enjoying your thread- you come across as such a lovely kind hearted person- a real gem.... and I am very glad you started this thread.

I have only posted on your thread twice prior, but read when I can and leave myself a little note as to where I have got up to as i am trying to read it all and by the time I found you it was already quite long. I love the idea of an autobiography, but wonder if you realise how entertaining, insightful and emotive your posts are- like a diary, and if ever published I assure you it would be a best seller.

I have anxiety and OCD and always worry i have upset people too, but please be assured even if i disappear for a few days it will most certainly not be anything you have said or done and I will be back. I do hope the above reads ok...

Hello haybel! nice to see you again! What a lovely thing to say, I am glad that you are enjoying the thread. It does seem to have turned into a bit of a diary which wasn't my intention when I first posted at all but as long as others are getting something out of it as well as me I shall keep going (as long as MSE thinks it is ok, I do try to keep within the rules and guidelines, despite some tricky subjects). Perhaps next time I have an ESA assessment I should just link them to this thread...

I am so sorry to hear about your anxiety and OCD, it is awful isn't it? Anything random makes me want to run away and hide and then my OCD symptoms kick in as I try and get some control back so I become even more anxious and so it continues, sadly I am sure that you know the pattern. I hope that it is at least bearable for you, you are always welcome to post here if you have any questions or are having a bad day, there are loads of lovely people here who will listen.
