Aw, that is lovely, Duke. I shall try my hardest to do that.

Lucky you with the rain! We have bright sunshine here but I got lots of rain over the weekend so I can't complain. It will be autumn soon which is my favourite season.

WaSp has just returned from shopping with a pile of conkers for me! I love getting things from outside especially if they are plant related!

What do you best remember Robin for WaS?

We've had hail along with that rain, I thought by the sound of it that it would be as big as tennis balls but they weren't. I love autumn too!

Enjoy those conkers :) Hi WasP
  • I remember in Mork and Mindy when I was little, I used to watch it every week. Then again when I was 21 and a friend rented a copy of Dead Poets Society, it was released years before but I had never seen it. I cried my eyes out at the film and thought he was amazing in it. WaSp watches a lot of his stand-up.

I got spiked by a conker! These shells are surprisingly sharp!

In other news I refuse to make myself feel guilty (feel guiltier) for the fact that poor Robin William's died and that if I perhaps had met him I could have talked to him and been there for him so he wouldn't have wanted to end his life. This is not my fault! It is so sad and should never have happened and I feel sad for him but I didn't cause it to happen. I think. (Must I do this everytime someone dies?)

Do you realise how far you've come,WaS? Look at what you've said. You've acknowledged that it wasn't because of you! :T

Apart from which, remember that he had had loads and loads of therapy, probably the best available.

With regards to your staring at people, WaS, have you thought of wearing sunglasses, perhaps the mirrored sort, so that you can then stare at people without them realising. If you combine them with, say a sun hat with a brim pulled lowish, that will complete your 'disguise'!

    I love

  • Ah, got it, we just need to hook you up with a couple of people with guide dogs! You can be chatty & doggy & KNOW they're not looking at you. I'm not joking, btw, it could happen.
Deal with things as they are, not as they should be.
  • That is actually a really good idea, Solar! I had never, ever thought of that before! It really might work!

Incidentally, I saw your name and took a sip of water, it's working!

This is one for you, WaS. I've captioned it:

WaS it is incredible sad that he died OH and I were just saying how many people both he and his films touched. A remarkable man.

But it is not your fault. Absolutely not.

Messedup hope you ok. I have been through a messy divorce -break ups suck. My dad always says everything happens for a reason. 6 years later I have a lovely partner, the most gorgeous little girl and my wonderful dog Max. My aunt always says "everything passes" and it does it just takes time. Be kind to yourself and use this thread it is a wonderful source of support and humour in equal measure.
