I think my lists are my equivalent of the CoGA!

Well, if WAS can face the CoGA you can get something off those lists, right?:p

Mentioned you to fir last night and he reminded me we met a gorgeous ebt last year in a garden in the Cotswolds. The ebt was much better behaved than our pup who wanted to climb on him :o. He's better now.

A well-behaved EBT? That clearly wasn't us then. Gitdog had a massive strop while out this morning - our planned dog friendly visit to Eastnor castle is now off again.

Haha sounds like my lists... my to do list is massive right now and seems to be growing rather than shrinking by the day.

Thank you I quite agree regarding the penguin. I logged on read the last posts first and wondered what on earth I had missed... and was about to offer condolences then read further back and realised thankfully nothing un toward had happened.

As WaS finds religion and leaving the house difficult and would naturally be very upset anyway should this event occur I feel that gettting as far as planning funerals is a bit too much. Of course WaS may be quite happy with the course the conversation has taken but as an outsider......

Seconded here - lovely mental picture of a small fluffy penguin, as well. I just saw the first sentence on this page, and wondered if there were any penguins around tonight :rotfl:(no, not implying that that sentence was a penguin one at all. Or that anyone's post needed a penguin. It's just that all the posts taken together seemed to be heading towards a waddle. (And isn't that WONDERFUL! I've just looked it up! A group of penguins is called a colony, a rookery or a waddle :D))

I've had a well paid evening (ooo er missus!) I've been to a focus group on banking in the voluntary sector. Focus groups are ace, if people are well enough to get to them - this one paid £75 for an interesting chat!

  • It was a small, fluffy grey penguin, JM. Standing between its mothers feet (Is it sad that I actually saw the penguin in my mind?)!

Well done on the evenings earnings!

No, I saw the penguin too! (Are you sure it was its mother? I thought dads did most of the penguin sheltering *rushes off to check*)

OK - department of random facts. The male looks after the egg, but both look after the chick. And how cute! They have creches!!!! http://uk.ask.com/question/how-do-penguins-care-for-their-young

I'm into those faux mink fur throw things at the moment. Lovely to snuggle into.
