In the bathroom might be good! For plants I mean! And you can put lavender in the bath water!

WaS if you like ginger, (mm me too!!), you could put a slice in your water jugs with the lemon!

Twinings a do a nice green tea with ginger, that I drink as a treat, or if my stomach feels a bit iffy.

  • Hahaha very good point, LIR! I didn't think of the light situation. There is a garden centre nearby so perhaps I could get one pot to try and pop it by the bedroom window next to the money tree. On the subject of light it has been so overcast here today that my automatic lamp turned itself on for the day. I should probably think about saving my pennies for a SAD box at some point, although I have no idea if they help with vitamin D production.

Oooh, didn't think of the bathroom Pyxis! I love anything ginger so I shall try that in water too, for some reason it didn't occur to me to put it in cold drinks.

You could try. Lavenders might like a break from the bathroom, as they like it dry, but in a pot, you can take it on a tour of the flat. :)
  • Ok, I can do that. I did manage to grow chilli plants for a while successfully, they somehow turned out super hot even though they were grown from the seeds of mild chillis or so I thought. I actually love plants, one thing I had as a teenager was a whole ledge of spider plants. I started off with one and they kept producing more and they were my pride and joy. Did I mention that I was an odd teenager?

I drink quite a lot of flavoured green teas, peppermint and lemon and ginger both hot and leave them to go cold and drink them cold or chilled, if you like your water cold pyxis suggestion about the lemon juice is good. I buy yellow sticker limes and lemons and cut them into wedges or slices and freeze. It's cheap, convenient as I can get them out and I use them in cold drinks as an ice cube and flavour and in hot water to cool it and flavour it to drinking temperature.

Nothing odd about growing plants WaS!

My neighbour thinks I'm odd, I just went to fetch in the washing not thinking or particularly caring that I am deep conditioning my hair with creamed coconut so my head is wrapped in cling film! :D

Excellent that Harry is feeling better.

One of my clients called me last summer during an emergency and I had to go out with a facemask and a hair mask on.

Then call the vet out and she had a friend with her. It was just one of those days. :)
