Did anyone watch Shed of the Year? I knew it was a competition but didn't know it was on TV. I really enjoyed it for the creativity. This week, I also really liked the giant puppets in Liverpool. I only saw them on TV. The dog, especially is incredible.

Have DP's headphones turned up yet?

I am exactly the same with the hair colours, Solar. I have had natural chocolate brown, light brown, blonde, blue-black, blue, pink, various reds and purple! The best colour I ever had was when I could afford expensive hairdressers and they dyed it black with red and blonde highlights framing my face. Cost a small fortune to have done along with a razor cut. Now I keep it natural as I have psoriasis on my scalp and although it doesn't mean that I can't use dye it really hurts. All the more reason to keep everything as moisturised as possible.

The headphones should be here on Monday! My partner is excited!

After 5 hours I'm giving up trying to go to sleep.
Maybe if I try to stay awake I'll fall asleep instead.

Some good tips for you, WaS. You even have fabulous eye colour - there is no way you can be ugly. It just isn't possible.

Another question for you. How do you buy clothes? What do you wear?

How would you know if you look good?

My DH will tell me if he likes a particular colour or style, but the ones that seem to make the greatest impression are the people that I don't know too well who comment on my clothes. Like the lady at the bus stop.

I managed an hour in the end, it's not cooler here though. It wasn't in the night anyway.

This got me thinking. (Ouch!) haha!
The most beautiful elderly ladies are the ones with the twinkles in their eyes!

So I'm going to practice twinkling!

Also, smiling makes you look younger as well as nicer! I'm a bit unfortunate, because when my face is at rest, say, when I'm in a dream, its natural expression is sad! Even when I was young! I was always getting people telling me to cheer up, even though I was just sitting having nice thoughts! Trouble was, them saying that made me feel bad! So, I developed a way of just starting a tiny smile, just enough to lift the corners of the mouth and stop the drooping down into their default position!
It works for passport photos too! Helps to stop that 'cell block H' look!

I think we should all make a special effort to twinkle today. Team WaS, twinkling across the country.

WaS, did your DP ever decide on those 3 things that would make his life better?

Also, how is decluttering coming along?
