Nope, still nothing bad enough. I am seriously in need of a re-style. Or indeed, any style. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Character contributes to beauty. It fortifies a woman as her youth fades. A mode of conduct, a standard of courage, discipline, fortitude, and integrity can do a great deal to make a woman beautiful.

Mine is very fine and dry so seldom shines even if I straighten it. I don't use any heat on it now, though as it was just making it dryer and more fly-away then ever!
It will, as soon as you find the right way for your hair to get moisture.
Mine is curlier than yours, fine too, and it still can shine when it wants too.. There are answers.
nothing fixes over night though. Just give everything time.

This is the closest to mine that I can find!
I go through phases of growing it and straightening it, then cutting it short and letting it curl.(I just lurve spiders!)

It has a terrible tendency to being coarse and dry, so it gets smothered in 'product' to keep it tamed!(I just lurve spiders!)

Dh, also a curly, is coarse and thick , where I am fine and now thin ( after some hair loss) I think dh's coarse is generally better behaved. He showers a lot because he goes to the gym multiple times a day if he can. Sometimes he whacks the moisturiser he uses on his body through his hair  crazy, heavy but ...certainly moisturising!0 -
Beautiful hair, Pyxis! I am jealous of yours, too Solar. I always wanted straight hair. Is it blonde too? I also always wanted blonde hair so I bleached it once and it looked awful! As odd as it sounds I am very pale and the dark colour contrasts, blonde hair made me look like a pile of pale nothingness. Red works very well with my complexion though especially as I have grey-green eyes.
I do need to find moisture for my hair, LIR. I am loading on the conditioner since we last spoke about it which is helpful with the tangling at least.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Yes WaS, it is blonde at the moment, mainly sun bleached. As I've never been able to get it to do anything, (a perm lasts 2 days!) I have played with colour instead. You name it, I have probably been it, apart from black which seems too heavy for me. I so enjoyed the pinks and blues, but now I stick (reluctantly!) to more standard colours, having seen a couple of er, more mature ladies who have flamingo'ed their hair & come to the conclusion it really doesn't work unless you're Zandra Rhodes.Deal with things as they are, not as they should be.0
