    Today I have

    held a tarantula
stroked a hissing cockroach; guinea pigs, a chinchilla, bearded dragons, corn snakes, a tortoise and observed tree frogs - and a millipede from a rainforest - so somewhat bigger than the ones we're used to!
    Oh wow!:T I am so jealous!:o
LW hows your bump on the head i hope its settled and not causing you any probs at all. did you get it checked?
Aww, bless you for asking; it's fine, thanks - I got Mr LW to take a look; we came to the conclusion that I've been bitten by an insect - probably something rather more unpleasant than your average mozzie. Anyways, he's been applying S@vlon to it for me, and, without giving too much gory detail ;) it's healing nicely, and doesn't hurt unless I actually touch it now. :o I did look at the online booking for the GP but there were no appointments available til July, and then only two slots with female doctors, both of which would have needed Mr LW to take time off to take me; so I didn't bother with that in the end.

I'm going to tackle my June Challenge when we're back from our hols - we're away from next Monday, for a week; and Mr LW's got a 2nd week off work, so he can help tackle some Frogs I can't manage alone.

It's going to be an interesting time - I have Jessie again from Thursday night; she's being picked up to go home at 07:00 Monday morning, and we need to leave here by 08:00.:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

ive blitzed our lounge, given mils a good clean through, been work, eaten with DH, gone into town for another beauty treatment (trust me i need them, and its helping my friend and a mate of hers get their passes on their course) nipped in morrys for a few bits and caught the bus home. DS1 is fast asleep on the settee - his phones gone off in his hand 3 times since ive been back and hes not stirred. need to finish a few bits off the list and then make a start on food.

flying must finally be working, DD3 popped in last night and asked why my kitchen was tidier than hers, and when Dh came home for lunch he asked where all the junk was gone from the lounge. glad its being noticed.

Still feeling disheartened. I done all the washing up, picked up the front room. I've made 3 different colours of salt dough for DD1 to take to work for her childen to play with. I've also made a gingerbread cake for my friend's drama group this evening.
The rest of the time I've been catching up my recorded programmes and texting my friend while he was at work, He's coming for coffee tomorrow.

You're on my list! There's no escaping now :p get knittying! :D

Done tea and DW been on, having a cuppa and mustering some energy - but I may just do my nails tonight.

Popped into £land earlier, buying stuff I don't need :o although they did have some tent pegs and a remover contraption - will give to stepdad as he had nothing for the groundsheet, also got him a carabiner bungee strap I'm sure he will put to good use...

Might check my list while I decide if I'm active or not... :p
