Huge congratulations, Pigpen. It must feel absolutely marvellous. Paperwork shuffling continuing here - the pile is getting smaller. Must ... do ... shower ....
    Better is good enough.

Sorry no post before this - been busy with holiday stuff; doing packing list, preparing meds for while we're away, printing route maps, scanning our passports, etc, etc.

Gotta dash - hungry DH imminent.:o

Well paid off, piggers, it's very liberating!

Couldn't get parsnips at the coop, so had to go to Sainsbobs for some instead. 90p plus an onion and a few store cupboard bits and the soup is done and LUSH. I might deff the sloppy joes which were on the menu in favour of a big bowl with a wee blob of creme fraiche mixed through.

Booked my car in for its service and mot. Called the holiday park where we're staying in the summer and fed their response back to my FIL. Text the pension man, waiting for him to call back. Lots of little jobs crossed off my mental list :)

Kitchen all cleaned down after my cooking efforts, WUDUPA and tomorrow's sandwiches are already made. Time for a shower, it's ever so muggy here today :(

    Tuesday - Living room/Dining Room/Family Room
    Only got 15 minutes
[STRIKE]27 fling boogie - rehoming items which are cluttering these areas [/STRIKE]this was so much fun. Ds1 (aged 5) and I had a challenge. I had 17 things to rehome and he had 10. We had a race! Although he ended up finding a couple of extra bits!!
Deal with any phone calls/appointments to make for summer holidays etc
    30 minutes to spare
    [STRIKE]Hoover and/or mop the floor
Tidy bookcases/shelves[/STRIKE] did this the other day
    Got an hour

Wipe finger marks off the walls
    [STRIKE]Clean a window or two[/STRIKE]

Considering I was at work all day I was quite impressed. It makes it so much easier when you are on top of things as some things just don't need doing!
I got in and started the hoovering straight away. Just got to clear up the dinner things and have a quick tidy up of the things that the boys have messed up again!!

Floors hoovered and mopped - well over due. Going to do 15 minutes in the kitchen, HH paperwork, check computer for viruses, online banking and then call it a day. No paid stuff tomorrow, just a meeting and possibly seeing friend at lunchtime so should be able to play a bit of catch up.

I don't know how I managed it, either, but I did exactly the same :o

I haven't made a lot of progress with anything this afternoon, but I rang DS2 and mentioned the theme of the course we're working on atm. He told me about a cartoon on You Tube which is really funny but deadly serious at the same time, IYKWIM, and has sparked off what I hope will be a good idea for our course. Now that DH has gone out to his model railway club, I can work uninterrupted for a few hours. I had better stop waffling here and get on with it, then!
