Evening all.
We've had a busy evening in this house. DD text me at 4.30 to say she was finally on her way home from an "Ancient Civilisations" course she's doing after school on a Monday (that was after texting me at 3.10 asking if I could text her permission to attend as she'd only just been given the form :rotfl:) and she was REALLY hungry apparently. So I did tea (and managed to tweak the recipe, which DD loved and wants again). When DD got in we did the exercise challenge together, then after we'd had tea we put the wii on. DD did an half an hour, but she had PE today, and I did just over an hour
Hoping we can do the same tomorrow when she gets back from choir practice (also after school).
Managed to book Mr A for tomorrow morning (Under my £45 budget), and DD has washed up. She's presented me with 2 forms to fill in, apparently she has a trip on Friday to Liverpool Uni, which means her heading away from town to get to school, travelling into town to go on the trip, back out of town to school and then back towards town to get home she's not impressed :rotfl:I'll fill them out tomorrow when I've checked a few things with DD or school, she was too excited talking about "Romulus and Remus" (ancient Roman story about twins raised by a wolf and an awesome, maybe even epic, story according to DD) to give me the details of the trip properly.

You made me think about the WUDU and I suppose I tend to leave to drip-dry for a little while. Mind you I use water sooo hot you can't put your bare hands in it and have to use gloves (hope to boil any bugs haha) and so I think it usually steam-dries :rotfl:
I do wonder why I dislike washing the cutlery so much ?? Anyone into the psyches of KFS

Morning everyone
I know someone who had a carer for a time when she broke her arm and the carers were instructed not to dry up as it was unhygienic - even with a clean tea towel fresh out of the drawer.
So, work this morning, another one taking the kids in as DS2 has a cricket match.
I have got a long list of little jobs that need doing which just seems to get longer, might try and knock one or two of those off later too.
Wet here, hope it improves. Have a good day everyone!0 -
Morning all - been up and awake ages - again. Even showered and dressed before DH and I don't need to get to work!
Fizz - I too loved the 6 cherries. However I couldn't possibly have had your restraint. Once years ago I took cherries for a snack after weekly weigh in and the rest of slimmers thought I was eating maltesers! You know the phrase - "like feeding pigs cherries" - well that means I must be a pig!:rotfl:
Already tidied my knicker box and put some ready for hols packing. Decluttering a coffee and then will need to keep busy as I don't eat before weigh -in this morning.
Will therefore start Tuesday's list and hope to catch up with Monday's later in the week/day.

Morning all, DD away to school and boys up and fed. School stuff all sorted and OH packed away to work (I'm saying nothing).
Plan is to have a nice flying day with no one to keep me back, sun is out so i'll go fill the line, get boys to school and then home to the kitchen. Hopeing to get a few messages done in town if I can get the kitchen rightly sorted by 12.
Be back later to update list.“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -
