Not a smooth day here so far. Builders didn't turn up, I finally received a call at 10.30am to say they are poorly. The toilet flush has broken. I was helping with a school trip next week but now I have to drive my self across the country if I wish to help. Car heater/blower has packed in completely this time. My return key is not working on this site. The sun has gone in and it is now very dark. Polly Anna thought house is spick and span so I can have HHtomyself.

I have a meal plan for the week, and the only things I need from the shop for it is some shop bread for toast for breakfasts and some fresh stuff :j:D I'm even digging out old recipes which I haven't cooked since moving here (10 years ago!) to see if DD will eat them, if she will they'll go in my "home cooked meals" book I'm doing for her to take when she eventually moves out. Yes she's only 13, but she's wanting to cook stuff now so if I teach her and put all those recipes together in one book then she'll be able to fend for herself when she moves out ;) If she doesn't like them then they can be thrown away. Once I'm through all the paper based ones, then I'll start on the cookery books :o:rotfl:

Now to try and sort £41 worth of grocery shopping to use the delivery pass which expires at the end of the month ;)

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
