Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Sitting down with a drink to celebrate having done the fridge. It actually wasn't that bad (the benefit of being on a budget means there's not much in there!) and now it's all clean ready for the veg box delivery tomorrow. I need to pop into town to collect a duvet from the launderette and buy a watch battery for my son's watch. We've just got a B&M store here so might pop in for a nosey as well.Jonathan Douglas born 20th January 2009 - 9lb 4oz

had a quick natter with an over the road neighbour and gave her a load of scrap booking/card making stuff i wasnt going to use.
amazing how local power cut and the fact vandals set fire to the local swimming baths can get people talking.

I bought the boys some cherries for an after school treat but I keep picking every time I go into the kitchen. There'll be none left by 3 o'clock at this rate. Note to self: destroy all evidence that they were ever there0

Morning all, I'm back in again after another couple of crazy weeks.
My June Challenge is to stay on the thread and completely empty the attic, can't move up there.
Need to crack on with house and really start to get things sorted for kids finishing, only 4 weeks left.
Right best go do something...“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -
Good morning all. Last week started off well and then went to pot when my sister realised it was half term. So I had my 5 and her 2 most of the week. They also stayed 2 nights, the first just cos auntie Charlie is great and they didn't want to go home and the second after her OH was taken to hospital with DVT. The kids all loved it, I loved having them but I was exhausted and in bed by 9 last night!
This morning ive got all kiddies to school:TBeen and done a small amount of shopping after realising my card is out of date and I haven't put the new one in yet:o Got home and had a cuppa. DH has now taken the car for it's MOT:eek: It's not going to be good news, I don't think.
Going to make a start on todays list while he is out and put a bit of washing out before the rain starts.

Gas man has been, it's definitely the drip from on high which is causing the problem, I have already
via text to DH as he immediately poopooed my theory. Just a shame it's cost me £48+VAT to prove me right.
Fridge has been gutted, all shelves removed and scrubbed, it wasn't as bad as I'd anticipated. Floors all mopped, second load just finished in the WM, lounge looks like a Chinese laundry again.
One appointment rescheduled, another two calls to make, if I can find the number for the pension man…0 -
