Bossy, please add me to the challenge. This month I pledge to stay on the midweek wagon and lose a few lbs, can't tell you what I weigh as I don't own any scales but suffice it to say, it's too much! I'll base weightloss on the fit of my clothes0 -

Over ran slightly as I cleaned my teeth etc while I was upstairsBut I did lots:
- Beds made (DD had already sort of made hers so I straightened it properly or it'll annoy me every time I go upstairs as you can see it from the top of the stairs)
- Clean wash load away
- Bathroom S&S
- Dry dishes put away
- Wash load on
- 2 shopping lists started (one for Mr A, another for H0mebargains)
- Teeth cleaned, face washed, aftersun applied again (guess who went out yesterday and forgot to put suncream on until she was AT the shops!)Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
I'm back, too, after <hem> rather a long break
House is in a tip generally, and still reeling from some work we had done to knock a wall down in the kitchen to give us more space. Plaster dust is still everywhere, and builders' finger prints all over the walls and windows.
Can't stand it any longer, so the time has come for drastic action! Hoping to find inspiration back in the fold...
DD dispatched to GCSE exams (3 papers today ), so I must shift myself and get the rubber gloves out.
My list:- wipe shelves
- replace baskets and boxes (wipe first)
- clean under-sink cupboard of doom
- wash kitchen windows
- wipe and re-oil counter tops
- put the pictures back on the wall (wipe first)
- clean sink and get the paint off
Must crack on. Planning to get organised, and start at 9:30am. Anyone up for a one-hour blitz?

Just before breakfast the creative juices started flowing and I found it very frustrating to have to switch off my PC and spend the whole morning at my new (occasional) voluntary job. However, I got there to find that another volunteer thought it was her turn! She very kindly told me to go home again :smileyhea so here I am, about to start work on the course once more.
And DH :A is already mowing the lawn :j
I'm with you in spirit, MissHiggerty, but will be getting my ideas sorted rather than my shelves :rotfl:
See you all later... x0 -
Morning all xx
Cuppa time in here.. and Weetabix grout the baby.
I have half of the required squares for Moomins teachers blanketComing along quite nicely.. I am considering getting a few more balls and doing a 'spare' they are so nice to knit.. less nice to sew up but I will survive.. 7 weeks to get it finished! I am averaging just over 2 squares a day, it takes about 45 minutes per square which is little more than my 'tea break'
Anywya.. kettle and Weetabix to sort then I need to crack on with some flinging... My front room looks like an enormous toy box..
I will just keep my list on pg 1 and update on there.. loads to do, loads to do!
Everyone back to school today, nursery restarts tomorrow for Squeaks last half term before she starts schoolIt has gone way too fast
