Good morning all
Yes, I know that it is an unmentionable hour - though I somehow suspect that you will already be up with DS2, mummyroys. How you still manage to find the energy to study, I simply don't know - wish I could get my brain in gear! I fell into bed at 10.00 last night, and 6 hours of broken sleep is pretty good for me at present.
I didn't achieve much yesterday. We took a picnic lunch out and enjoyed it at one of our local beauty spots, with glorious views all round as far as the Welsh borders, Cotswolds and Malverns. I meant to mow the lawn when we got home, but my colleague rang about the course (which she is basically happy with) and after that I cooked tea and forgot to get the mower out afterwards, so I am hoping that we won't get any of the "scattered rain showers" that are forecast for this morning while I am out. Or maybe DH will do it if I ask him - but he's in a funny mood again and is unlikely to want to
Thank you for the new thread, Dusty. I'm in for as much of the week as I can. We've got an all-day meeting with my colleague on Friday and a day of cuddles with DGS3 on Saturday
Here are my June challenges, bossy:
- Lose another 5 lb
- Finish writing this course
- Finish the planting out
- Finish touching up the paint all round the house
- Get the voile up in the kitchen
Right, have decluttered my first cuppa of the day (always the best one!) so must quickly check my finances and then get down to work.
(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks where needed. Hope everyone has a good week x0 -
Yes ionafan I was up....I've no idea how I manage either tbh.Have a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

Morning everyone, dont feel very lively yet!
6 hours of paid stuff to get out of the way then I will crack on with the kitchen.
Must look at my finances today if I can.
Might hang the washing out in a minute, even though its a bit drizzly, it is supposed to get better.
Oh and I need to sort out some grocery shopping. I have been shopping at L@dl but I seem to be spending more, not less! I think its partly because I am forever popping in there and picking things up and partly because there are some things I cant get so I am going elsewhere anyway.0 -

Morning all, I'm in again, thanks for the list and will try harder this week, but given paid stuff is manic I may struggle.
These challenges are great.
Jennyjewell - I was interested to read your post on last week's thread re simplifying your life. I did a similar thing several years ago as I was involved in so many things that I wasn't able to concentrate on my family. I've never regretted it, the stress lifts, but I still help at one off events etc, I just don't get bogged down with it all.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

weekend should have been lovely spent saturday night with DD1 she had the fight on sky and a bottle of wine so we spent a lovely evening with her her lovely fella and their mental puppy who wants to lick everyone to death. funniest moments were when she spotted movement in the fish tank and had to shoot across the road to frantically watch the fish dart about it was so funny.

DS2 is feeling much better so has gone back to work today, DS2 has gone of looking uber smart in his new year 10 uniform.
