    Good morning all.
Been busy here but not quiet to list. The boiler that has been playing up for months finally gave up yesterday so major clean of the kitchen and utility room so that I could call the boiler man out. Waiting for him to ring me back today.
Car failed MOT so spent all day yesterday in the garage. DH has just taken it for it's retest.
Was also DS1 birthday yesterday so still got cards and balloons all over the place, they just seem to collect the fluff and dust from the floor.
Need to make a start but feel so tired this morning. Think I will have a coffee first then tackle the living room (waiting for loads of deliveries so not going out today)
Just downloaded a new security update for the new virus things so will go and let it do whatever it is doing and will hopefully update later.

    Morning all.

MIA yesterday due to work. I started at 8am and finished at 9.30pm! I hate delivery days which have mistakes which need to be dealt with. DD took the option of staying upstairs in her room reading when she got in from school yesterday (I was in that foul a mood it was the safest option :o ) so nothing got done except eating the slow cooker meal I'd made. Still need to call @von today as I was so busy yesterday trying to get everything sorted, then so tired when I finally finished I knew I wouldn't have been able to sort the problems out over the phone :( So that's on my list for today. Then I need to get on with the work I was hoping to do on Tuesday but didn't. :( I also need to have a bath before DD gets home. For a change I won't know she's on her way as the battery on her phone died, but she did call me from her friends phone to let me know she was at school okay and the battery had gone. I'm surprised she remembered my number :rotfl:

Wendy - I feel like that about my house as well which is why I'm going to be overhauling it this year. After 10 years all the rooms need some attention as what was done was supposed to be a temporary fix to get rid of the awful decor that was here when we moved in so is very slap dash :(

    Morning

Piggers~~ what are you going to replace it with? a new one or make a 'feature' of the space?

I am looking at a wood burning stove.. however, there is a gas pipe along the back so I need to get some advice on the matter first, see what I can do without risking blowing up my house! :p .. Either way I need the chimney sweeping, the pot a hood fixed (I get rain in) and a flue liner and some of it boxed in..

I'm having the inside cement boarded then tiled I think (last nights research!) and the terracotta tiles are coming off today.. I am hoping to trot to a showroom to have a peek today and hopefully they will be sensible enough to give me an idea of what can be done!

Tip.. Tesco.. stove shop.. is my day!!

Morning all, managed to get bathroom cleaned yesterday so today is going to be boys bedroom. Everyone decluttered out but need to lift OH at 11 for doc appointment.

So will empty dw now and leave for him then head over to the boys sports day. Boys will be helping tonight with their bedroom. House is looking great just need to stay on top of it. Might even get a box down from the attic later and sort it.

I'm working with you and mrs-mp, JTTOU (and trying not to give in to temptation and keep sneaking a peek at the thread :p )

Just had to write a notice for DH to display at the U3A meeting. Another thing that was not on my original list!

    Morning all

    Walking done
DS1 bed stripped and in the machine
    Ordered shoes online with DS2
    First lot of emails sent.

Just waiting for the machine to finish and then flying until 2pm when I promised DS2 we'd go out and look at the tuxes in Next.

JTTOU - I really think the media are building up the computer virus problem - just don't click on link, pictures etc as a good starting point.
