Wendy I'm sure your friend is coming to see you and not your house. Hugs, most of us may have felt like that though x

Everyone was up here by 6am. I'm flagging already. Wm is on.

I'm off to find my list x

Morning all, dry here at the moment but I'm not expecting it to last. Bad start to the day, row with DD and spilt tea everywhere.

Anyway, couple of jobs to do in the kitchen, will then do master bedroom list, hoover downstairs and walk the dogs before the paid stuff.

    Have a great day everyone.

Morning all - bad night and not 'cos of tooth which seems - touch wood OK - no pain now.

I must admit to being in a total twizzle re this Cryptolocker and Gameover Zeus bug thingies. Our new laptop decided to turn into a flashing belisha beacon last night so cannot access internet through that. Old one won't update properly so although we have good and updated security I can't trust it. Think today I am going to go back to old school and do passbook accts for everything - then when all has quietened down and new laptop replaced (under warranty) can decide what to do. Was intending doing some sorting in a month or so anyway!!! UPDATE - have suspended all my online banking

    Morning

Another who didnt sleep very well due to OHs non-stop coughing. I am just really hoping I dont catch his cold! Car went into the garage yesterday and they didnt finish it so I am relying on OH for a lift to work this morning. Voluntary job this aft so I am not going to get much flying done today but we will see.

Rain forecast this afternoon - again - but tomorrow looks better. I am keeping on top of the washing by drying it on my heated airer. May leave our sheets until the weekend.

Fingers crossed that the car isnt toooo expensive. Have a good day all x

    Great start, mrs-mp and wendywitch!

    I have
    - checked finances
    - written PM (and read the reply!), cheque and 2 letters to post
    - sent email and ecard to DS2 (as well as normal birthday card a couple of days ago)
    - eaten breakfast
    - S&S'd kitchen including wiping door fronts, under small appliances, bookcase and windowsill :)
    - cut DH's hair so it's now shorter than mine.

DH has replaced the fat blocks and put the bird feeders into soak.

DS1 will be at work now so may or may not pop in this afternoon on his way home.

Must jump into shower, then make a phonecall before I settle down to work.

TD is now on but I'm resisting the urge to reload the WM as the airer is still full.
DD1 forgot? to take the salt dough to work with her  so that's in a bag next to where she sits, it will go tomorrow!!

Still loads to do on main lists, but panic has made a big improvement :o Now I can potter about looking casual and unconcerned :o:rotfl:
He doesn't really like dogs so that should keep him out of the kitchen ;) and having a dog let's me get away with a grubby kitchen floor :p
