Hip healing vibes for you Dancemum. You sound really busy.

    Self-repairing vibes for all FlyMobiles.

Master bed changed, three WM loads out on the line and paperwork mountain climbed one step at a time again.

Plumber phoned for quote to replace two manky rusty radiators, carpet man phoned for estimate to recarpet two letting rooms, new double bedding costed up. The letting rooms are looking sad and tired, and the longish term lodger has had a rather detrimental effect on the soft furnishings because of the nature of his work. I'm going to use some of the money he's paid to overhaul both rooms. The carpets were new six years ago but they are the budget version of what we've got in the rest of the house and they are a bu**er to clean whatever I do to them. He's a lovely chap but hard on the the carpet and the other room hasn't fared that well over the years what with bitumen and hair dye either so I'm going to use this opportunity to upgrade both rooms.

In addition I think between us OH and I have murdered the dy$on. I'm taking it for open heart surgery tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure there's not much hope for it.
    Better is good enough.

When Mrs MoneyPenny bent down to retrieve the jar of sandwich filler and crisps for her son's lunch from the kitchen cupboard, litle did she know that when she stood up, her life would change direction.

... to be continued. Anyone got any suggestions for the next sentence?

Where did you go this morning? How long had you been unknowingly walking about with it on your head?

I await the next episode with eager anticipation :rotfl:

    Congratulations to lozzy's car :T

Tried to finish the course this morning and got completely stuck and gave up for the time being
    Got lunch
    Baked cakes
Made SW quiches (using Parma-type ham instead of pastry for the cases)
    Sent DH out
Started ironing, then got an idea how to round off this final session
    Made a cuppa
Wrote a bit more - it's beginning to flow again

Need to rest my eyes and brain (brain???? - what's that?) for a few minutes
Will go down and make another cuppa, then will definitely get the writing finished, then will do the rest of the HHI - promise :o

Still haven't cleaned the fridge, the kiddies were hungry so they are having an early tea. But I guess it will be easier to do with less stuff in ;)

Really must have an early night tonight. DD and I both yawned all the way to school

Quite pleased with progress so far, just having a little tea break

    All bedrooms hoovered
    Bathroom floor hoovered and mopped
    Bins emptied
    DS1&3's rooms dusted
    Windows and mirrors cleaned upstairs
    Towel wash one done
    Fridge cleaned
    DW filter cleaned

Just going to do 5 minutes on here, feed the mogs, get the washing in and dust our bedroom before dinner.

  • Just had to catch up to say - important " stuff" became so manic I had one person on my mobile and one on the home line at the same time and had to decide which was the most important!!! Sorted it and will tell you all about the mobile call nearer to the end of June - I'm so excited!!
Also managed to sort the other imp call and move that on a little - so all in all with all the flying that was also completed - a very good day - a la Pigpen style I think!!!

    Have a lovely evening.

DH just making tea and I am deciding between sinking a glass of wine or ironing the last lot - hmmm decisions!!!!
