Lots to do today. First job will be to ring Hotpoint as they still haven't contacted me to replace DW and the chap thought they would ring before he had left.
I woke up at 1:45am and couldn't get off again. So I got up and did the WU. Still have to DUPA though.

Morning all
Need to get DS3 away to school and then I'm flying in our room whilst DH is in the shower then I'm cleaning the bathroom before my shower.
Frizzle is it water marked, your shower screen? I spray mine with neat white vinegar, wait 10 minutes, rinse and shine, over time it helps. Mine is glass. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning everyone. Lists pretty much up to date, BUT if the paid stuff is not too manic today I may take a break and bake a cake. This will not break my June challenge as it will be dessert, not a snack. Stocked up on more fruit last night, bananas and blueberries it is today.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning everyone
Its Friday - and the sun is shining. Two things to be happy about.
Got to pick the car up from the garage after work, this is not something to be happy about, have a feeling its going to cost me about £300
Anyhow, I just have the bathroom, DS2s room and office to deal with after the paid stuff. None of them are tooo bad.
Ah yes and studying - I have to do some of that this weekend and complete the next online module for my course before my boss asks me again how its going!!!
Have a good Friday everyone x0 -
I am quite amused this morning. Yesterday I had explained to the kids that there was no money, direct debits were due out and there wasn't enough to cover. Then last night the petrol light came on
This morning I checked the bank, Sky had come out so now over drawn.
I explained to DD1 the situation, that I could drop her to work but she'd have to walk home. The look on her face was classic!!:rotfl:
Her reply "how am I going to get to me nail appointment?"
The free taxi stops here! :rotfl:
Half hour later she magically has £20 I can use for petrol. I'm still going to have to change my plans as that won't last til next money day but for the look on her face it's worth it.
Coffee with friend yesterday went fine, he knew how I was feeling but it was fine, nothing was said obviously.
I still have lots to do off the listsso I'm going to finish my coffee, text my best friend to cancel our plans and then get on with it . . .

20 minutes in a circular hold pattern to Indesit! Keep talking to a lovely lady named Jane! I think she's getting more cheesed off than I am!
I will try to do some housework today
ETA: The lovely Jane has got back to me and sounds really, really miffed. She put me through to a dedicated number and they haven't done what they were supposed to do so she's gone away again for a few minutes then came back and said someone will ring me later on today. She said when I first came back through that she had written down my postcode to check later on that it was all going through. I think she's quite on the ball- thank you Friday deities for putting me through to herDebt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -
We have sunshine too! DS decided shorts were in order today!
Just compiling a very short grocery list (I'm almost out of grown-up toothpaste!) then DD and I need to go to the bank and get the shopping. She is tired after last nights "can't sleep" and I am too - very strange dreams last night, woke with a headache but that's gone with some parrots earlier.
I'm giving the DR a coat of emulsion tonight so will just go check there is some in the cupboard, pretty sure I have everything else I need. Luckily the woodwork is fresh - can't be that long since it was done last, so it's just a case of covering the marks up...Bossymoo

DW on, first load in the WM. Sent my friend a text, she's fine with it. Landing, bathroom, my room windows and mirrors cleaned. I would have done the girls windows if I could get to them  My room dusted and a few bits binned. I'm now going to try to get to the airing cupboard to put some towels and bedding away. It's on DD2's side of the room, she always has carp piled in front of it
