Pigpen they don't make me feel goddess like at all! This house may look presentable if you ignore the dust (my eyesight isn't good enough to notice it which is pretty convenient) and the cruddy smellie bits I know how to hide because I have plenty of practice. We also have a loft that is the size of three rooms and it is stuffed to the gunnels with crud, cr*p and gibble handed down for three generations that neither OH nor I can let go. And it's driving us nuts. It's so full we're having to get the two bays at either end boarded out this year to pile further tonnages of cr*p on it. Show me anyone who feels like a Goddess on this thread and I will call them a FlyFraud!

The WM didn't like one wool blanket in it at all and made such a rocking racket I had to drain the machine and rinse it by hand. It's so windy here that despite not spinning, the blanket is nearly dry having been pegged out at about 2.00pm. Excellent.
    Better is good enough.

    Hello hello!

One coat of emulsion done and I *think* it might be enough :T splodges are no more and it's really brightened the DR up. Plus, it hasn't made the woodwork look like it needs doing (hurrah!).

So, I'm now toying with the idea of doing the LR too. It's only taken me an hour, and the LR would just be 3 walls as the feature wall is fine as it is (and in a deep peacock blue is going to take about 50 coats to cover so I'll leave that for another [strike]day[/strike] year).

Will see how I feel after my tea break...

The moderator has been and agreed to my assessment results. While she was looking at my evidence I got to 'play' in the office (a supply was paind for;)). I typed the Newsletter and did some shredding:p:D:D:D:D:D

I have had a cunning and devious idea. I have planted this and it's looking good...

(strike while [STRIKE]the boss is pleased with Valli [/STRIKE]the iron's hot and all that)

    I felel like FLYING!

I shall start with the kitchen, I think!

    Well done Valli

I've put straw around the strawberries and netted them as the blackbirds have started to peck them to bits.

    Filled the seed feeder
    Got the washing in
    Emptied the DW

Tired now so no more tonight. Sleep well flyladies.

    Go Valli!

I'm all done painting and had a bath. Hopefully there'll be no odd patches in the morning. Cleaned DR floor and put everything back, and new placemats out. Looks nice. LR is good too. All the crayony scratches behind the toy chests are gone, and it all looks fresh. I also gave the rug a good going over and spot cleaned a few smudgy bits. Rather pleased with my efforts tonight :T

Means tomorrow I have very little to do other than a bit of laundry, put garage back to rights and go for my eyes testing. I can be good n lazy and relax. Kiddies are away until Sunday, and I'm going to a casino tomorrow night! How exciting!

Tried really hard to get all done this week as I'm working everyday next week and know I won't get much high flying done. At least this means I can just try to keep on top of it :D

I'm out most of the day tomorrow - outdoor food festival (heavy rain forecast :rotfl: ) and then the dreaded shopping.

Morning all. Sunny day here so far. Lovely.

Well paid stuff was manic yesterday so I didn't get to bake a cake, but I did take 15 mins out to cut the grass out back as this weekend will be spent with friends, so only the dailies will get done.

    Have a great day everyone.
