    Morning all

Working again today. Started at 7am, until 8am (when I stopped to eat breakfast), started again at 8.30 until 9.30 (making deliveries) and I'm on a break atm as I feel awful. I'm going to eat, have a coffee and take some parrots if this headache doesn't ease. I have tidying up to do before I can get on with the rest of todays work. I was supposed to be going to the bank, but considering I've just nearly fallen down the stairs due to a dizzy spell I'm postponing it. :( I'll do the stuff that needs to be done today and take it easy putting books out to customers.

I'll get tea out to defrost later (leftovers) and book another grocery delivery for tomorrow while DD is out so I can stash some of it. I bought a bottle of sparkling water as an alternative to fizzy pop and DD has finished it. I got 1 glass out of a 2 litre bottle. So I'm going to buy a few of them (only smartprice so won't break the bank) and hide them in a box. Also need to buy ice-cream as thats gone as well  My delivery only arrived on Tuesday! Off to make food and laugh at the workman over the road who is singing his heart out :rotfl: Laters
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Bathroom and our bedroom done. First lot of washing on the line, washing up done.

DS2 revising away and DS1 has just got back from his morning shift. Just need to do so paperwork before lunch and then I've got paid stuff this afternoon and DS1 is back at the paid stuff later too.

Hoping for an hour in the garden when I get back later, sitting or doing a few light jobs depending on my mood and energy levels then.

People please take a sit. I have an announcement to make.

I SCRUBBED MY BATHROOM FLOOR!! :j :rotfl:

Also put washing out, reloaded WM, put other washing away and had a chat with my friend. Now I'm going to unload the DW and find something to eat.
I can't do the kitchen floor til later (please bug me 'til I've done it!) as I need help moving the dog cage and the table.
Need to get stuff organised for dinner, only me and DD2 as usual. A mix of leftovers I think

Yes please! Does it make me a sad person absolutely loving it when people post pics?
OH lying on sofa watching telly of course. So tired I dont know where to put myself, in fact I think I am off to bed soon.

The only way I've found of dealing with the resentment is to ask OH to be responsible for certain things - houseplants, emptying the kitchen bin and putting all the recycling out, washing the car :rotfl:and other such sundry tasks. Simply hoping they'll help is not, in my experience, a successful strategy.

Ditto, and loving the 'hat' addition to the story. Anyone else got the next sentence?

Six boxes from the June challenge have been sorted. Stuff I 'knew I should' CS but couldn't make myself has been saved for posterity. Other stuff has been CSed, and the big heap of sundry dog and people spare bedding has sorted, laundered as appropirate and put away. Kitchen tidied and cleared and serious planning for World Cup dinner has been started - listy written.
    Better is good enough.

    Morning all

Need to get DS3 away to school and then I'm flying in our room whilst DH is in the shower then I'm cleaning the bathroom before my shower.

Frizzle is it water marked, your shower screen? I spray mine with neat white vinegar, wait 10 minutes, rinse and shine, over time it helps. Mine is glass.

Thank you. I will try that! Do you think malt vinegar will do as I haven't got any white vinegar!

  • Very very late today!
Frizzle - I think malt vinegar may make your bathroom smell like a chip shop!? White is not expensive but I don't find it in my little local supermarkets usually.

Been sitting with DH watching D Day commemorations all morning - both remembering when we visited Normandy a few years ago. Recording the rest to watch later.

Off to get something done and then shopping.

Have a good day everyone and I'll catch up tomorrow - by the looks of the forecast I'll be in all day!!!

eta.. it's piled on the chair so I have some clear floor to work in!

and.. big dismantled white thing ebayed.. waiting for pick up and there is a 2 seater sofa behind all that lot!

If it does, then I must be a sad person as well.:D It may (not) surprise you to know I particularly love pics of furbabies.:D

Frizzle malt vinegar will do the task, but will smell decidedly more "vinegar-y" than white. I save the vinegar from Mr LW's pickled onion jars for descaling the loo.;)
