    I've been Money Tipped!
I'm bemused, I recently went to a wedding and wore a full length dress - similar to a bridesmaids I suppose. Was that wrong? Everyone said they loved it!

Wait for it... you might soon be the subject of a sneaky thread on here called:

'I saw someone who looked lovely, I'm jealous so I'm starting a catty thread to make me feel better'.
    :hello:

I've been invited to a wedding in September - "sort of" family - DIL is groom's sister. It's late afternoon, in a country hotel/wedding venue - and there is a dress code of black tie/cocktail dress. Well, as a 71 year old, for the sake of the general public, my legs shouldn't be on show  - so I'm intending to go long and elegant! - something like this:- http://www.houseoffraser.co.uk/Alexon+Jersey+Maxi+Dress/197515021,default,pd.html

That's really lovely. I wore something in a similar shape (same crossover/draped front but sleeveless and different colour) to a wedding last year and received a lot of compliments.

This is a lovely dress! It's actually almost exactly the same as the one I was referring to but with sleeves.
