Feeling lonely

Hello Rosie! Glad to hear from you. Hope you slept ok last night.
Do you know, I was thinking about this business of joining groups and making friends.
I have a small circle of good friends, and all but one of them I met at an evening class!
It's because if you join a group to do with something you enjoy, well, the people there are already like-minded, aren't they? So you're half-way to finding people who have the potential to be friends!
You've already got something to talk about!
I do hope you feel better today. Pop into the garden and see what birds are out there.
Xxx(I just lurve spiders!)

How are you today, rosie? xxxLife is a gift... and I intend to make the most of mine :A
Never regret something that once made you smile :A0 -
thank you everyone xx xx
been out with the birds today. the blackbird that had a bad wing is doing ok now. getting very close, but seems a little agreesive to other birds that land near me. I've come inside for some water melon sorbet that I made yesterday.
I have decided that my new regime will be Saturday afternoons spent on MSE entering competitions! I've never won anything before.
its not so nice today weather wise so I think im staying at home today.
been doing a couple of hours work and will be back in the office properly from Monday. just reduced hours again. see how I get on.
psychiatrist thinks that my job is probably not helping things MH wise so i'll have a think about it.
I've found a bird watching groupfeeling soooo excited. I was thinking about asking my neighbour if he fancies it? he may do.
I like seeing him - he's like a granddad (I think, never actually had one).
I came across an accident in town the other day which freaked me out a bit. poor woman dislocated her shoulder. so I sat with her chatting till ambulance came. had to help her to sit down, and remove her coat. then guide her to bringing her arm up. good job too as ambulance took over an hour and half. they put a sling on which wasn't too bad as her arm was up, but I felt awful for her. people passing kept asking if she wanted a drink from costa etc, so I kept having to say no them all and asking them to give her some space. for a few minutes I was back to being ME (slightly assertive) and not run down me.
I do hope she's ok though.0 -

it would be great to have a grandfatherly friend! And you'd be doing him a favour, too, being his surrogate granddaughter, and going out and about! Lovely stuff!:):)

THank you xx xx I just hope that if I fall in the street someone would help me. I've decided I'm going to go to the pet shop in the next town as the bird seed in Tesco here smells nasty and looks crap. so I've binned it all. plus there was grass growing in it. I'm sure there has to be better out there. I've had some before that's looked so nice and loads of birds came for it.
I hope the birds don't mind not having anything for a few hours lol.
may treat myself to a coffee in town too. will see how busy it is. been avoiding being around too many people, so going out in the week when it's quiet. Saturdays are busy but I'm going to put ipod on and just try and keep calm
i'll update you later! xx
Thank you again xx0 -
Mmm, I'm sure people would help! It's amazing how many really good, helpful people there are out there!
Unfortunately, it's the ghastly ones that get all the publicity!
I'm sure the birds won't get too angry at having to wail a bit for their food! :rotfl:
A coffee in town sounds good! You could sit and watch people pass by! Sometimes you hear snippets of conversations as they pass, and out of context, some can be very funny!:coffee:
Let us know how you get on! Have a good afternoon!

I'm SO glad you had a good day! Sharing cake!:)
The smileys.
Make sure the cursor is on the post where you want the smiley to go, then click on the smiley, and the 'text' version appears on your draft post. You can press 'preview post' to check it's how you want it to be.
For the smileys under 'more', click on 'more' and you'll get a page of smileys come up. Click on the one you want, then scroll down to the bottom and click on 'close window', to return to the draft post. (Sometimes this doesn't work and you lose the post! I don't know why!) Again, you have to ensure the cursor is on the post in the place where you want the smiley to go, before clicking on 'more' !
But that's basically it!(I just lurve spiders!)
