That is what you intermated in your original post, nobbysn*ts wrote:I'm perfectly safe to use a mobile and drive. The police generally tend to ignore this stupid bit of legislation, quite rightly.
As the legislation applies to handheld devices not hands-free.0 -

It's exactly what I said, I agree. I use the phone, and indeed, the police do ignore those who don't use handsfree. It is also a stupid piece of legislation, if you think how much technology in the car now requires more attention and hands on operation.0 -

And what if you need to turn the wheel quickly? You need both hands on the wheel to get full maneuverability.0 -

and 70mph is a stupid outdated piece of legislation too, and Police will ignore drivers exceeding it by some margin, yet you feel strongly enough to argue the t*ss that it MUST be adhered to, because it's the law, and yet use your phone? Hypocrite.0 -

no. ive got over 3000 songs a stick thing that plays random, in the van and bluetooth for the phone
on the motorbike I have a intercom that has satnav and bluetooth for phone and another stick thing for music. everything is automatic, I don't have to touch anything.
although the phone does Bluetooth to stuff I never use it while drive/riding. im not important enough to be instantly contactable.0 -
