While cars are more capable, traffic conditions are worse and I don't see any evidence of driving standards improving either.
I'm more than happy for the limit to stay at 70.0 -

I'm more than happy for the limit to stay at 70.Since 1965 the maximum speed limit on any UK road has been 70 mph (113 km/h).
Also, many UK drivers seem to be able to cope on the 'wrong' side of the road hurtling down the Autobahns at eleventy five mph. The standard of driving won't improve here, because it doesn't have to.0 -

There is a huge difference between reading a book, and being able to put what you have read into practice.
I'm always happy for someone to explain why I am wrong, vague insults and complete misinterpretations of what I wrote just make me think you are a troll. I'd be happy to be proved wrong on that, but I don't hold out much hope.0 -

You seem obsessed with the size of cars, and the speed they're driven for some unhealthy reason. Not a BMW driver with small "man" syndrome are you by any chance?0 -
Jamie_Carter wrote: »I have already clearly explained why that isn't the case.
People have been talking to each other in cars since cars were invented. But a very large proportion of RTCs are due to mobile phone use, not just talking.
Link for that?0 -

You may speculate whatever you like.
You just seen very insecure about the size of a Vauxhall corsa, it seems a reasonable assumption given the number of times you've mentioned small cars recently.0 -

I have explained why you were wrong, and why your interpretation of roadcraft was wrong.
From what you have told us I don't believe you have passed any blue light test.0
