So, neither of you ever changed the cd when driving?

My head unit has an SD card expansion slot and steering controls. I don't use CD's.

and 70mph is a stupid outdated piece of legislation too, and Police will ignore drivers exceeding it by some margin, yet you feel strongly enough to argue the t*ss that it MUST be adhered to, because it's the law, and yet use your phone? Hypocrite.

And it's against the law to use the phone? Sadly you're the hypocrite as you seem to pick and choose what you should ignore. I've said you can drive at whatever speed you choose to, I don't police it. You can either overtake or follow me, I'll still be doing the speed I choose to as well. No doubt it'll be upsetting you as well.

I was going to show my age and ask if you've never rewound a cassette with a biro originally. I still have two cars with cassette players in them. But I'm sure your previous cars had cd's, so I'll assume you have.

so what did you have for breakfast? What's the relevance and who cares?

4 sausages, beans, and a large duck egg fried.

no real relevance really, only to your 70mph comment, I certainly don't care and cant speak for others, I was just curious is all.

I find the egg drips out of the bun when I'm driving.

I don't think I'm that impaired when talking on the phone in the car (hands free). I actually pay more attention to the road than the conversation, often drifting into silences if I need to concentrate hard - e.g. in busy traffic.

To have an argument or a conversation I'd have to concentrate on, I would pull over.

that's because your not driving fast enough to let the centrifugal forces to keep it in.

Unfortunately for you, the research says the opposite

What I said doesn't conflict with the research.

Not everybody has to be impaired in the same way. Some people can be above the legal alcohol limit and it barely even affects them.

I talk on my phone (hands free) all the time whilst driving, always have, and I've never had an accident.

Ah yes - I well remember a few years ago a West of Scotland Assistant Chief Constable whose defense for a drink driving charge was that he was one of a very small percentage of people who were relatively unaffected by alcohol.

IIRC he was about three times over the limit.

The case was dismissed - just goes to show that with the correct lawyer - justice can be achieved and the correct result prevails.

    Aye that'll be right.
