Maybe I should cancel Dixons and ask my local ASDA to get it from Lincoln or Derby for me
I'll phone around (incl Dixons) tomorrow.0 -
Phoned Derby, had 2, but won't deliver. They said they are withdrawing them:eek:
Why is that???0 -

PS - if anyone's interested, Asda Spondon in Derby still had a few packs priced at £75 left this morning.
Hi Jeremy, I don't recommend just ignoring Sky's letters.
However on no account give them any DD/CC details; simply send their own letter back to them, endorsed by hand and spelling out in clear simple terms that you have already paid for 6 months use of the extra 2 packs and have no intention of either supplying further details or taking any other services.
You should eventually get an acknowledgement letter of some sort from the CSC, after which you can simply do as I do and keep all correspondence from them without reply.
And I still have my extra channels!0 -
I too have received a letter and phoned customer service dept to be told if i don't give my bank details they will disconnect it? this can't be right - it is "pay once watch forever" not "give us your bank details just in case" it is making me mad just thinking about it - why would i want to give them my bank details -they told me to speak to Dixons as to why i wasn't told that they would require my bank details - he also said it was in case i wanted to watch a box office movie and i told him i didn't want to watch any of their movies thats why i bought the pay once watch forever package - i could scream - its like going round in circles speaking to their staff:mad:The mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work unless it’s open.:o

Called Dixons, said I will get an email soon:silenced:
Called ASDA, said it will be back in stock at all stores from beginning of October:think:0 -
I have emailed Dixons and they say no i should not have to give bank details and speak to a customer service supervisor - i phoned sky and the supervisor wouldn't speak to me - the customer service rep said that she had asked her and there was nothing they could do!! they want my banks details and they will cut me off if i don't supply them - so do i go to trading standards or citizen's advice? The mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work unless it’s open.:o
