How did you manage that? I was on Dixon's website at about 7.00 PM and the item is "Sold Out".
    I don't know:confused: Bought it around 6:45pm...
It comes and goes, so you need to check the page often...

Did you call the 0870 number on the leaflet, or did you call saynoto0870 number?
The 0870 number seems the only choice.

What's wrong with signing the contract & direct debit?
So long as I don't forget cancelling it in 6 month time?

£79 offer was back in stock on Dixons website (temporarily!) today, so have placed an order.

Does Deanos' post mean that with this offer you get access to Sky Box Office/PPV channels ? Can that be disabled, as the last thing I want is e.g. family members/friends lumbering me with a bill for PPV stuff, especially as I don't intend to provide a DD mandate ?

Activate your PIN (it should already be activated actually) so no-one will be able to order any movies without it and secondly unplug the phone line, then you will definately not be getting any PPV material;)

I called up Currys to ask if they have it in stock somewhere, and they told me it was recalled!

Would I ever see the item I ordered as in stock? The money was taken out of my credit card promptly... Why would they say it was in stock when it wasn't?

Dunno if it has been mentioned before but ASDA (Lincoln) has them for £79 so no p&p.

harz99 - did you give Sky any direct debit / credit card details? I received the letter from them yesterday asking for these details but I don't intend replying to it.

PS - if anyone's interested, Asda Spondon in Derby still had a few packs priced at £75 left this morning.
