2nd NSD today spends still at £115/59/£160.00p:hello::coffee:Penny Pincher in training
Keep Calm Keep Vegan:):staradmin
year's food budget £1,9200 -
Another £2.49 spent on a top-up shop yesterday. Loo rolls, milk and a bunch of spring onions, so no unnecessary impulse buys.
Fridge is looking very bare now but at least I shouldn't have to throw anything out. The market near work's on on Friday so I'll try to hold out until then, at least for fresh fruit and veg.
£30.68/£90Saving for deposit: Finished! :j
House buying: Finished!
Next task: Lots and lots of DIY0 -
Jealous of you all getting your free F&V, but agree £5 probably doesn't go far if you buy berries and the like.
It's very quiet on here, holiday season I guess. My spends over the last week have amounted to £35.90 (I have removed £6 from one spend as it was for DD's polo shirts and they are in another budget).
I have £97.27/£180 in my pot for remainder of month which isn't bad as we're almost mid-month.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
Aldi Super Six looks pretty good this week. All at 39p.

Is there definitely a voucher in the Sun today? I thought the meat one was likely to be next Thursday.

I haven't done this challenge in a long time so think I need to sign up again. As we're almost halfway through the month, I will just go with this month and join in properly on the September challenge.
Am just about to go back to work after 10 months of maternity leave and my food shopping/cooking has become ridiculous really. Too many lazy teas from pre-bought freezer stuff. I guess having your first baby is a bit of an eye-opener!!
Anyway, I'm 17 weeks pregnant with no2 now so want to get back on top of food shopping before I go back on maternity leave again.
Budget for this month was £300 and I've already spent £198 on a huge stock up, so hopefully just fresh bits to pick up for the last 2.5 weeks before payday. Hoping to spend nowhere near the £100 I have left.Debt free since May 20150 -

I haven't done this for ages either! I need to get back on it! My partner and I are doing a budget of £40 a week as a trial to include all groceries (except wine!) and household cleaning products.
Good luck!September 2014 Grocery Challenge = £160 on target
Secret Savings Fund = £150/£2000, plus £120 in vouchers
No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in 2014 = Joined challenge August, no spend so far!0
