Hmmmm, am reading the experiences of switching and now having second thoughts....

But in case I do decide to switch! I just wondered if anyone had thought about the Premium account and if it was worth it?
I liked the £150 vouchers- these are vouchers I would definitely use especially for Christmas (though reading the experiences above; at this rate it's looking like Christmas 2015).

I was wondering if anyone had any experience on the "perks" because the website is vague.

Also, is there any reason why anyone would not apply- i.e big gnawing warning signs I am not noticing?

If you already shop in M&S and so would use the reward vouchers, and would use the majority of the hot drink vouchers, then it's worth it.

    If not, then it isn't.

Received gift card today, two weeks earlier than expected. No actual denomination is shown but assume £125. Switch deposit was less than £50. Thank you M and S.

So how long on average is the switch taking people? Am I miss-reading here or is there a "months" sort of time-scale between when you apply and when the switch is over?

Does it work faster if you opt for a premium account?

My switch went through in 2 weeks. The switch was for £1. Received the gift card 3 weeks later.
  • I applied for the account on the 31st October, and switch was complete on the 27th November. I may have lost a day or two in between due to not being able to make phone calls on the days the post was received. They confirmed on the phone I would receive £125 vouchers within 4 weeks of the switch date (27th November) and am hopeful that it will arrive earlier than expected, as others have!!

Voucher came today so that's 20 days since switch.

Just waiting on Nationwide to make it 3 out 3.

Might do Co op and others next year.
  • My voucher arrived today, yay! That's 20 days since switch just like neil324.

Checked the balance using the online instructions here http://www.marksandspencer.com/s/gift-card-balance#0 and I definitely have £125 on it :)

I don't know why the gift card dates fluctuate so much, but my switch completed on 14th of November and i received my £125 gift card on 30th of November and the letter was dated 26th.
