Afternoon all, no internet all day :( been playing up again. Going to do the next weeks list in a mo while it still works!

Flying not going well. DP decided to take DS1 fishing, got called to take coats for them (I did suggest but they said would be fine as was nice then it rained) then another call to say DS1 wanted to go home because he haddn't caught anything so had to go and get him. DS2 came in saying he was itchy, my fear confirmed when I found a headlice, just one but, argh! Have spent the last 2 hours combing my hair, his and DS1s (both me and DS1 clear) and treating it. I think may have come from lovely new neighbours kids so I mentioned he had them! DS2 was clear Friday night and has only played with their kids over the weekend. Nearly lost my temper as they've said their son must have caught them off mine as I found them first. Yes I found ONE on his hair, just because I am more vigilant doesn't mean that was how it happened. Anyway wherever they have came from it's a case of they will get them regardless, there are dozens of kids with them in school and the parents don't treat it properly.

Have made a start however and after I have done tomorrows list will do some more. It's not that I have done nothing, spent an hour sorting garden, same with turtles and the pond, just not much off the list.
One day I might be more organised...........

Got the spare room done this morning, then I hit Asda,Ikea and the Metro Centre. Barging through the dawdlers in all 3 places with my hit list. I didn't go to the DIY place as it was such a sunny start I thought I'd cut the grass rather than spend the afternoon puzzling over bathroom flooring.
In the event I didn't do that either 'cos I had another little snooze. I think I'm getting into synch. with the cats, I'll get a surprise when I go back to work tomorrow!

Anyhow I woke with an absolute craving for something lemony and gooey so I'm off to make something that fits the bill with what I have ingredients-wise.
And put the BM on. And do a tiny bit of ironing.

Shirleypark, I liked that tip. It seems obvious really, but the number of times I've stood in one room with 3 things for the bathroom in one hand and not enough hands left for the 5 things for the bedroom and just stood frozen like its some great puzzle!
A big ikea bag would do the trick or like my friend who was taking 2 cups of tea and a kitten up to bed - kitten down the waistband of the 'jamas. Easy!

Had an ok day, started off with DS (4) calling "Come and wipe my bottom!!!" from the loo :rotfl: (this is quite a regular wake up call for us). It was at 8.30 though which was nice. Anyway I leapt out of bed (well as much as you can 30 weeks pregnant LOL) and made myself feel really sick :( Anyway I went back to bed and lay on for a while and OH got up and did kids breakfasts. And he brought me some in bed which helped a lot.

I've done a load of batch cooking for us for when the baby comes - big pot of chilli and massive shepherds pie. Now got 26 portions of dinners so 13 nights' worth in the freezer, and still got a few dishes to make.

We've also done loads n DD new bedroom, she can sleep in it tonight :j

Its tipping it down here so we haven't mided being indoors all day, but its very hot and stuffy. Hope everyone had great Sundays.,
    Jill

DD home so I've done one load of washing and hung it upstairs. Loaded machine up again but no point in doing it until tomorrow because I won't have room to hang it up. Raining again outside too.

Just read that tip, I do that but with a plastic box. Find it easier to sort through than a bag

Just cut DS2s hair which will make treatment etc easier, DS1s is another battle to be dealt with!

    Lists now up http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=502850

Hiya, I'm new to this, and am the most disorganised person in the universe. I'm going to have a go at the flylady next week, but has anyone got any tips on how to make a start.

I admit I'm lazy and unmotivated and would rather be reading or on the pc :o but there is a bit of me hidden (very) deep inside that would love a lovely tidy, organised house and I would like my OH and son to have a nice home also.

    Help!!!!!

kathryn - welcome and good luck with flying :T

    Managed another couple of bits.

DD is now asleep (I think) in her new room :j
She loves it, she's only 2 and obsessed with Disney Princesses.
We've gone for one bright pink wall and 3 pale pink ones, 2 pale wooden shelving units for toys and boks, and a white with pale wood trim chest of drawers. She has alittle wooden table and chair, and a little wicker chair for her teddies. The curtains are pink gingham as will her dyvet cover be once we move her into a bed (she's still in a cotbed as a cot with her borthers old blue cotbed duvet cover. Will only make a new cover if I get some pink remnants). We bought a metre hight sticker of Disney Princesses for one wall and it came with a castle which is above her chestof drawers. I totally love it - can you tell :D

Tidied up upstairs and she and DS finally in bed, I am wrecked. Started getting swollen feet at end of the days now, so have put them up for a bit in front of the telly with a jammy piece and cold drink.
