Dusty, cake sounds great, sure was much better than the Waitrose one!!!
I mentioned to the GP about my other problems as she's my new GP (my usual ones on maternity leave), which is another reason she gave me the medicine form rather than tablets, aswell as being easier to swallow its supposed to be absorbed easier and less likely to be effected by the stomach issues. Tastes absolutely awful however, yak manky stuff, no wonder the kids spit it out, I want the full sugar yummy stuff we got when we were kids!! She has a right rant at me for skipping my vitamin supplements and said that it's why I have probably ended up with both and so ill.
Michelle he's sooooooooooooooo lovely, such a happy little chap aswell, give him a great big squishy hug from me!One day I might be more organised...........

yup - that is charlie chuckles. always giggling.
Notice i picked a fly-ladied spot to take a piccie - you won't find me posting a piccie of him in my spare room
Just a thought lil-me, you don't drink any caffeinated drinks while taking your vitamins do you? as it slows down absorbtion. It's supposed to be best to have them with orange juice.0 -
Michelle - He's such a sweetie, just amazing how fast the time has gone. That area is too clean, look how spangly that skirting board is!!! I've started taking them just with water after being told that a few weeks back. I was taking them on a morning with water then having a coffee straight away, now I wait at least an hour before having coffee. Trying to reduce my caffeine again actually, bought some half caff stuff which is ok actually. :rotfl: maybe that is why I am getting so tired!
Right I am giving up for the night, taking the dogs out the back, pain relief then bed, just can't do any more as I am dozing off sat here. Good night everyone, see you bright and early in the morning!!!One day I might be more organised...........

Lil_me, please don't do everything on that list tomorrow when you're not well!
Michelle, that's a lovely picture of him. He's got that look that says he's going to get up to mischief as soon as you turn away! So lovely.
Dusty, I like the idea of stewed rhubarb in a sponge cake, would never have thought of it but it definitely appeals.
Still wide awake thanks to the afternoon nap so I'm going to roam the boards since there's b.all on tv and not in the mood for my book. One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

lil_me - my daughter had glandular fever about 10 years ago and I can remember she could barely get up off the settee. Please try and rest yourself. I know when you have children and your DP is at work you have to do a certain amount, but you don't have to have a perfect house at the moment. Remember, good enough is good enough.0

mermaid - that story is well scary  made me feel quite queasy!
michelle - charlie is soooo cute, good luck now he is on his feet! Its so lovely when they come into a room walking isnt it. I see you went to Meadowhall, where do you live ? We are in Reading (Lower Earley, so on the Bracknell/wokingham side) and I love M&S at Meadowhall :T
Shell, will be really interested to hear if you are impressed with your WW scales, I've often thought about getting them.
I've had a good day. OH let me have a bit of a lie in and then I got a lot of bitd and bobs tidied up upstairs in peace once I got up. My friend who is also my hairdresser arrived at 11.30 to do my hair and OH took kids out to take back library books before hols, and to do some shopping to tide us through til we go away. So I had a lot of my hair done in peace as well!
He also made lunch and tidied up afterwards
In the afternoon my friend came round unexpectedly with her DS which was great cos we got to chat while the boys played nicely.
After she went hubs and I got loads done upstairs.
- he fitted blackout blind in DD's new bedroom
- he built shelves and chest of drawers in DD new bedroom
- I sorted out and bagged a mountain of clothes they have grown out of and between us we got them into the loft. Spare room bed is now visible.
- got a load of paper and magazine recycling done in spare room as well
- oh yeah and first thing this morning I cleared out my bedside cabinet which was disgusting - but not any more :j
- he then tidied the kitchen after tea and washed up the things that didn't fit in the dishwasher. He never does this!! :j
It also occurred to me this would be a good place to keep a to do list of extra stuff that needs done. So here goes:
- shred big pile sitting beside shredder
- wash and put on spare room bed linen
- hang curtains in DD new room
- hem curtains in DD new room
- stick up wall stickers in DD new room
- make cushion covers for cushions for DD new bedroom
- hang pictures in spare room
- hang swimming certificates up in kids rooms
- seam curtains in our bedroom
- get new curtain pole for our bedroom
- label all boxes of stuff in garage so we can find things
- finish edging on rug for baby's room
- make Ruby Wedding album for Mum and Dad (it was 14 months ago)
- sort out photos into nice storage boxes OH bought me
- make sure everything I need is off old laptop and decide whether to sell
- make sure everything is off old PC which kids now use
That will do for now!!!
No clue as to if or when I will get any of this done as the kids are off preschool now, we are on holiday 2 weeks from Tuesday, and when we get back there will only be around 7 weeks til baby comes   :eek:Jan GC: £202.65/£450 (as of 4-1-12)

Dusty, I like the idea of stewed rhubarb in a sponge cake, would never have thought of it but it definitely appeals.
Like all good things it happened by accident. I made a cake one day and found I had no jam to sandwich it with. Had some rhubarb in the garden so stewed it to form stand in jam - it was lovely. I also sometime do chopped up apples stewed a bit (espc nice with blackberries). The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Morning.
It's a bit criminal really being up at 6 on a sunday, but i was. Disappointed this morning as we were going to go out on our bikes and i could definitely do with some exercise, but instead i am going to do some more sorting/organising/cleaning. Had a realisation that we have got visitors in 3 weekends time, and i had put it to the back of my head a bit thinking it was ages away, but i don't want to tidy the room up in one day. So spare room will be getting some attention today.

monkey man took a few steps today supporting himself on one of his toys and pushing it along - will have to see if we can borrow his cousins walk along toy thingy so he doesn't mark all my floor by scraping supposedly non-movable stuff along there0 -
Another early bird here too. I can't do the main things I want to do until 11 (ie food and DIY shopping) so I'm going to tackle the spare room too. It hasn't been done in a while and has become the dumping ground again. Nip it in the bud I think. Oh and I've cleaned up and defragged the lap top, which I'm very pleased with myself being quite a technophobe and a (relatively) oldie.
