Gosh I am so mad!!!! DS1 went to his college course today and the weasel of a tutor refused to let him in.. so burneth the wrath of the irate mother... I even threw the line.. I am a school governor I'll have you know!!! lol Anyway.. I now have 3 letters of totally irate overprotective furious 'I won't be happy until this tutor is fired' mother hatred I bet they turn the other letters in the post box to ashes with their sheer heat!

I've had my nails redone.. I slipped on a cooplands bag last night and broke one so now I am pink glittery and swirly.. anyway.. do you like them??..

Best go do something useful... all I've done today is write letters, rant on the phone, sit and hasve my nails done while ranting at the nail technician and snooze for 45 minutes!!

Just having a quick pop in as i am a bit too excited at going out this evening to really concentrate on much. You'd be proud of me this morning, i have done lots of flinging of receipts i have found and other random crud from the living room. I keep saying to myself why don't i just do these things straight away as it is all 5 minute jobs that i just put off and life is so much better when it is done.

pigpen love the nails. Wish i was more adventurous.

Charlie is sleeping for england today. He already had 2 and a half hours this morning, then he's been asleep for the last hour with no sign of stirring. Hope he goes to bed ok tonight for DH or he will not be happy with me. I don't think he is poorly, so it must be a growth spurt, as he is also eating us out of house and home. He had homemade pizza today  and he is only just 9 months. He's going to cosst me a bomb when he's a bit bigger.

Anyway, won't be around to join in any party tonight. May pop back in again before getting ready, but depends on what monkey man is getting up to.

I will say I do DO housework!!!! Even with these nails.. my own are pretty much the same length so it isn't like I'm not used to it really.

I best actually do some work today just to prove that I do.. I can't type though I've just made LOADS of typos!!

hubby just collecting DS2 from his induction day at high school.. I got his SAT's results which were pretty fabulous for him.. all 4's with a couple of 3's in for good measure BUT he does recieve SEN help.. he wasn't even enterred for the KS1 SAT's because he couldn't read or write.. so he has made fantastic progress!!! (the other 2 got all 5's.. but are of very different ability, and I'm just pleased he did this well)

DS3 now smashing up the kitchen so I best go sort him out!

Evening all from a very soggy Durham, yak what awful weather!!

Pigpen well done to your DS, that is darn good progress isn't it. I look at my 8 year olds report which is in front of me now and from a boy who couldn't read at 5, couldn't talk properly etc he's now getting 4A in Literacy which is great for his age, they said could have done better if he was more willing to cooperate. Just shows never give up as all kids love suprising us.

Spent the morning at all the appointments, Megan is now fully vaccinated up to date so that is one relief, got some antibiotic drops for her eyes and Luke's, he's ended up with conjunctivitisbecause of his hayfever and Megan has caught it off him.

Been to doctors, came out with a carrier bag full of prescriptions as I had to collect the boys prescriptions aswell. I've got tonsilitis and glandular fever at the same time the GP thinks :( no wonder I'm finding it so hard to swallow. Antibiotics in medicine form as I can't swallow the tablets aswell as painkillers :( No wonder I feel so tired & rotten lately, at least I know why now.

Moaning aside, been shopping, had to, needed to find PLAIN black tshirts for the school performance. DSs have over 50 tshirts between them and not a single black one. After trying all over I opted for 2 mens small tshirts, just hoping they aren't too big and don't look stoooooopid!

Did some other shopping while I was out, some shoes for me (black and boring so wouldn't interest you all) some bits and pieces in Home Bargains inc packets/tins etc they had on cheap, toiletries aswell. Small shop in Aldi then smaller one in Tesco. Must add it all to my grocery challenge target in a mo.

All this being out means done VERY little at home, what doesn't get done tonight will just have to wait until tomorrow. Need to hunt for recipe then must get up off this chair or I will fall asleep, I can't even sit down doing nothig without dozing off at the mo.
One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

lil_me.. that is fantastic progress. Mine is 11.5, goes up to high school after summer and the class teacher predicted 4a for SAT's and he got a 3a for his literacy.. but compared to the 'U' they gave when he was 7 it is great! I did know the class teacher was 'fixing' the results.. now I have proof.. He couldn't read or write until he was almost 9!!! He just didn't seem to beable to keep the knowledge in his head. My oldest could read at 2.5!!

Dusty.. yes those pics are my 'middle room'.. or the 'play room' as the children are insistant on calling it.. it is an indoor garage!

    Lil_me.. Barney is a mop!!!
