Up since 6am with Charlie. So i decided to get up as i felt ok, so he has had such a good crawl around that he is already back in bed.

    • both dressed
    • charlie's finger nails cut, and he actually sat nice and let me do it.
    • i've washed my hair for tonight already, and took advantage of the fact that he is asleep
    • our bed stripped
    • some of charlie's white towels and his grow bag in to wash
    • cats fed

DD1 woke up with a cough and temperature this morning so no preschool today. Have given her calpol and she seems improved, playing happily rather than lounging on the couch looking sorry for herself lol! Will see how she is once the calpol wears off.

Have washing out but its not doing much, just hanging limply. Looks like it is going to rain any second as well. DD2 went to bed last night and we forgot to put her nappy on so had a visit at 4 this morning. Put her in bed with us but after an hour of her fidgetting took her in the lounge where we both fell back to sleep until about 6.30am. So her toddler bed matteress has been disinfected and stuck outside to air off.

KAZ - I was like your daughter when I was little, mum used to dispair. I remember her opening one of the draws and it being full of cut up bits of paper, no idea why I had done it??? but I promise you I am a real neat freak now and if anything is out of place it really annoys me. From one extreme to another - lol.

I've been lazing about this morning, well the intention was good - on return from Asda I was going to put the composter out in the big bin outside but before i could do that i wanted to add the muesli leftovers, so I looked for a newspaper to wrap them. I found the eco pull-out from saturday's paper and started reading it! Half an hour later I remembered the composter and wrapped up leftovers. Sat and watched start of This Morning ('doh! I hate it when I put on the TV and cannot tear myself away) but in the ad breaks I did the composter then after the first article of the morning I decided enough was enough and turned off the TV even though they were talking to a male model who was not bad lol.

Well from there I made a pot of tea and came on here! Gotta motivate myself somehow. I have lots to do but now I only have 2 hours till I meet my brother and his fiancé for coffee. They get married in 2 weeks - phew, engagement to wedding record of only 5 weeks! It's gone from a low key wedding to one with 3 bridesmaids including my daughter, a church, a big reception and evening do! I'm really pleased for them, they'd have felt cheated if they had kept it low key.

    Afternoon all

Pouring with rain here. Luckily I didn't have enough washing for a load today. DD is back Sunday night so I'm hoping it will be dry on Monday :D

Did all my bedrooms on Wednesday when I did the main one.

Not done much at all today. Have cooked a meal and cleared away so there is a "proper" meal in the fridge for DH to heat up tonight.

    So far I have

    Had a shower
Made an impromptu lunch for brother in law and his workmate who popped in.
    did the dishes.

I do have an excuse, spent most of the day on the phone as our re-mortgage is to go through today and someone messed it up meaning it wouldn't get done till next week.

A few foot stamping phone calls later and I am just waiting on funds clearing then somehow I have to collect and pay for 2 new cars all by myself as hubby is at work!!! eeeekkkk and I have soda pop with me!

I should actually go use up this nervous energy and clean the kids room shouldn't I??? Yes I think I will, and take the phones with me, better than checking online banking every 5mins eh?!

    *panics and runs off screaming*
