Hello all I am back and feel much better for being out.

Tried on my bikinis whilst getting changed - quickly decided I needed to cycle to the lottie and not drive, in fact I need to cycle everywhere!

Pigpen are the pictures of what you call 'the middle room'? That is some project, I just hope you don't find an extra child you did not know you had in there.

Thanks for all the photos they have made me feel that our house if tidy.

Right finished my cup of tea, to the hoover - who every asked I hoover kitchen Monday. Tuesday do hall/living roomfamily room and redo kitchen on the way through. Thursday hoover stairs/landing/bedroom and often kitchen and family room on the way through. Leave hoover upstairs to do kids rooms on Friday. Hardly ever hoover on the weekend.

Spoke to DS2 on the phone - gone to see Harry Potter with Dad - he seemt tearful and not like he had enjoyed his trial day at Secondary school - we have to go down later for 'the talk' and to get his PE kit.

Scary photos. Saying that my DSs room and the computer room (also the kids not mine as our PC etc is in our room) are just as bad. Can't find the camera anywhere or I would show you, the boys room is the worst, 2 weeks ago every toy was in a box (over 20 boxes) now they are all over the floor and can barely walk in there. Computer room is bad, did some of it today, PCs and desks etc were all cleaned (aswell as the ones in my room(2 laptops and a desk top) but still a nightmare.

Good luck with those on sorting missions reclaiming rooms again, take my hat off to you as I've decided the boys can help with theirs and waiting until over the holidays. Not disrupting them playing out over the summer, but most rainy days will spend sorting through. They don't need all those toys, some are well grown out of, will be doing plenty of charity shop trips!!

Books is something else we have a lot of, never sold on Amazon so might have a look on there and see how much it is etc.
One day I might be more organised...........

then had ds1 presentation of achievments in afternoon, he got awards for french and german:j (doesn't get his language skills from me)then straight over to another school 15 miles away to pick dd1 up from her footie match.lots of consoling as her team lost, she was goalie and got loads of stick for letting in 2 goals, she has also had problems with her knee recently it just"gives way" think a trip to drs is needed to make sure nothing seriously,so the whole house stinks of freeze spray. tea(yummy chicken wraps on the go

Hi all, hope you are all well, I have not logged on for a few days and cannot catch up the 15 pages that you have managed to fill in that time, so ((hugs)) to anyone who needs them.

I have not got much flying done this week, DS has been unwell and so have I so it looks a bit like a tip at the moment, especially with the added toys from his party.

Also spent whatever hours weren't used up for the party helping my brother in law move, he had not packed a single item so it was hard work.

Will have to pick up flying again when I feel a bit better.

No real flying today, as we visited a friend this morning and then went to playgroup this afternoon. In between I made some raspberry and white choc muffins from here, and they came out looking like this:

    MuffinCropped.jpg

I can't post the taste here, but I can guarantee that they are extremely yummy ;)! (BTW I made the recipe into 12 muffins instead of the recommended 8). We ate 4 at tea time, so I've kept 4 for tomorrow and frozen the other 4.

I'm impressed by all the pics of shame you guys have posted. I have to confess that our spare bedroom looked unnervingly like those until about 4 months ago, but we had to clear it as we've had viewers round to look at the house. Anyway, I know what you're up against. You feel so much better when it's all gone and you can use the space properly. I've also found I've stopped buying so much stuff since doing this flying lark, as I know that otherwise I'm just going to end up having to throw it out at some point in the future. Actually, I can't boast too much, I've just remembered my garage still looks like that!

We've got a charity collection coming next week - how many bags of clothes do you think I can put out before they decide I'm taking the mickey? I'm hoping it's going to be at least 10 - perhaps I can put some outside the neighbours houses if not!

Now off to do a bit of vacuuming and tidying up...

Heavenleigh thanks so much for your pictures. I thought the befores of the kicthen were the afters, it looked so good. I almost decided to give up all attempts to fly as I clearly couldn't meet your high standards.
So seeing your really messy rooms --- well it made me feel a whole lot better.

Pigpen how many skips d'you think you'll need?

Li'l_me, can you add an extra mission ... polish legs?

Now I need to take a photo of all the mess in my house -- but I don't know how to put it on here. Does anyone use photobox for printing pictures and if so do you think they're any good?
