I go into my children's bedroom with a bin bag and ask them to put everything on the floor into the bin bag for charity as 'they obviously don't want it anymore'. Amazing how quickly they clear up! xx
Time before last I did that, I had 6 or more bin bags full and she hasnt had them back yet, and last time I removed everything from all the toys cupboards floor everywhere and told her she could have 10 things. This was her list
Leap pad
Badge it
My laptop
Cuddly toy
Bratz board game
Bratz dolls (ok this was a box of bratz dolls)
Mobile phone
Art case
magnetix
and craft box.
She's also had a birthday since then but we didnt go over the top so wheres it all come from.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Just finished up for the night, we have just had a mad half hour sorting stuff out, and now we have pulled out the fridge and feezer cleaning under them, and rescuing/cleaning the fridge magnets, hoovering the kitchen for the 2nd time today, bit of weeding done, and the bin and recycling out. Just got to rescue my jeans from the TD before bed so i have something to wear tomorrow.
Not sure what of that is off 'the list' though, so best check.

Kaz, must say I am impressed with your 15 year old DSs room, he could be a future flyboy in the making there
Love the fireplaces in your DSs and DDs room, wow they're lovely, wonder if it could be the 'toys left on the floor furnace' or is that a little evil of me to think of that :rotfl:
Anyway, tomorrow starting with appointments
9.05am doctors appointment, collect prescriptions etc while I am there
10.30am Megan vets for second jab
11.30am DP appointment taking him there as no parking
Kids up, ready all the **** that goes with it, dogs out in middle of that somewhere and kids taken to school
Dailies
Level 2 ish maybe more in boys room
Sort through toys for 10 minutes
Wipe door and walls I can get to in DSs room
Meal plans and shopping list (time to hunt through the freezer again)
Clear dining table (couldn't eat at it tonight because of paperwork and crafts stuff)
Clear that darn coffee table that has been dumped on again
Thorough clean and tidy in kitchen as it's a tip
Sort OU text books as they are all over the place
15 minutes filing
Sort one kitchen cupboard
1 laundry load aswell as boys sheets, school wash when they get home
At least one fling boogie, maybe one upstairs one downstairs
Windows - bathroom, my room and boys room
Right well that will do, have to remember dailies is huge in itself so have to be careful. I need to try my best to get it all done but anything not done I can filter into the weekend. One day I might be more organised...........

If I start calling him flyboy he'll think I've gone mad not that he doesnt already. And the thought of the furnace is a good idea. We were lucky with the fireplaces its a victorian house and when we moved in it was ultra modern but they'd left the fireplaces where so many have been ripped out.
We have a lovely white marble fireplace in our living room (with a gas fire they put in!) with a lovely orange felt pen circle on it that DD did a couple of years ago that we cant get off! and we do have an open fire in the 'middle' room at Christmas.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

DD is off school today so no school run for meAlso meant I got a lie in until 7.20 :rotfl: We have a dentist appointment at 11 so we need to leave here around 10.45 so I think I'll try and get the dailies done before we leave, if not more. I was going to sort out a couple of bags of charity stuff to drop off on route but the forcast is rain and getting heavier as the day goes on so I'll scrap that idea - I'll just make a couple of trips next week instead or get OH to drop it off on Saturday
Loved the pics, I'm fortunate in that all 3 of us seem to be naturally tidy people and we rarely have a messy house - clean is another matter though which is the main reason I'm hereThe only "untidy" bit is the understairs cupboard but thats more due to storage problems than us being untidy - we have so much DIY stuff and nowhere to really store it
