Grannynise - thank you : I am just more scared than a scaredy-cat-thing on a particularly scary day! It will all come right though, I'm sure.
However, I am throwing myself with gay abandon into organising my Spanish babes days and trying to make it fun, different and like nothing else out there. The poor little poppets won't know what has hit them! They will at least be going back home with tired brains full of new words, and new ways of using them, and understanding how we live. We are absolutely NOT covering how to get a return ticket to Edinburgh, directions to the town hall or how to ask the pharmacisit for a corn plaster.
I think all I should do is find a library big enough (we don't have internet cafes here!!) and sit them down with this thread for an hour...
Right, dashing back! (I only came to print off the long-range weather forecast so I can make some plans that I will only have to change later!)
Adios!!!!Is it home time yet?0 -
Morning all.
Galantv4 - just want to send positive vibes for the test results. Enjoy making those pink fairy cakes. We have to make pink and yellow ones in this house as DD1 loves pink, DD2 loves yellow. I'm not complaining though twice the cakes! lol

Morning all, not started my flying yet but have been for a power walk. I started to put everything else behind flying and then realised that the idea of flying is to give me more time to do the things I want to not to just keep flying.
Galantvr4 - I hope you little one starts to get better
Kazmeister - I was thrilled when I first made Jam, well done
Rach - well done on the weight loss, sure but steady is the way to keep it off
Michelle - glad you are going in to talk about work. I have never heard of verticle forms, not sure if I think that is a good idea or not. DS1 got his options back yesterday - they are taking them early, he is only just finishing year 8. He did not get one of the subjects he wanted so now we need to see what can be done he is a bit dispondent as he has realised that all the fun subjects (DT, Art etc) will stop as he is not good at these and wants to do other subjects but will also miss them. I think 13 is too young to be choosing.
Sorry back to the thread and my list
