Stupid car repair bills! Haven't even got enough slummy of any one kind to pay in with my cheque. Guess it's going to have to wait. Oh well, off to wash the dishes and put the washing on as I forgot to start the machine before
Thought some of you might appreciate this :rotfl::rotfl: :Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Morning everyone, another sunny day here so thought I would pop in and say hi while the washing finishes and I have my coffee. Fingers crossed no 'scattered showers' hit today or I'll be in and out with the laundry again. Hoping to get everything I need to done before mid day as I might have to pop through to Birtley later for DP if his stuff arrives at the shop if he doesn't manage to finish work early. Water heater also on, no hot water to clean breakfast dishes or the floors with.
Galantvr4 fingers crossed she's feeling a bit better today and might find it easier as the day goes on, pink cup cakes sound yummy!
Rach well done to you and your friend on the weight loss
Michelle, gosh how the time is flying by, 9 months check already, Charlie doesn't seem to have been a baby very long at all. Hope everything goes ok at his check and he doesn't demolish the house before you leave :rotfl:
grannynise I am sure you have more than earned a late start with all the late finishes you put in, as for shopping delivery at 7am, take my hat off to you, no way I'd be able to cope with that so early!!
nicki hope your Mum has a lovely birthday - I NEED THAT SIGN
TNG - tut tut, but we'll forgive you this oncemight just beat you with my feather duster anyway because that sounds fun
personally I would say today is a new day and just forget about what you didn't get done.
One day I might be more organised...........

Morning all
The gardener's been and now I have a lovely new lawn and cleared flower beds... apparently he removed 1.5 tonnes of debris from the back garden... which all had to be carted out through the house. The floors were washed twice last night, and still need done again :-S And the cats have found all the mud really interesting - there are muddy pawprints all over the place - even up the side of the wall?!??? :-S
Don't have masses of time today (esp considering mother arrives tomorrow!) Am going out for dinner tonight to meet the OH's exgirlfriend
Need to:
- change the bedding
- clear the remaining clutter from the bedroom and living room
- wash the floors throughout
- S&S bathroom
- plus whatever else I can fit in off today's list!
rach - well done on the weightloss!
galantvr4 - fingers crossed the test come back ok. My best friend at school was diagnosed with severe arthritis when she was 7 - by the time she was about 18 she started to grow out of it. I haven't spoken to her for years though, so don't know how she is doing now.

Morning all
Waiting for Asda delivery so not much done yet. I did damp wipe living room yesterday and vacuum so it's not bad. I'll try to make myself do it later.
One load of washing on the line, not doing much. I have washed up and put everything away (and watched Corrie......)0
