Mmmmmm Houston we have a problem......

As the Iron Mountain depletes it would seem that there is not enough room in the kids drawers to put everything away  so I think I will have to start packing for hols today and we don't go until 22nd :rotfl: will have to have a trying on session as well and freecycle/ebay the small stuff. Will prob freecycle as with clothes it seems a lot of effort for little gain on ebay unless I do lots but then there are all the pics to take.

TNG.. stop reading old posts and get to work.. honestly.. you let a male specimen in (notice I didn't say 'man') and the place goes to the dogs...

I've just got back from college and what do I find.. lil-me fraternising with the male specimen while her floors look like they have dog skin rugs all over them, dust dogs and fur coats on everything.. and no, if you are at her house you are not a vampire just because you don't have a reflection in her mirror, it is just so dirty you can't see your face in it!!!

Honestly.. do I have to supervise you all ALL the time???

Anyway.. time for lunch because I am STARVING ... caramel ice cream and... oooh... a cuppa??? Don't think we have anything else worth eating!

I'm back from the bank and shattered :o I walked about 6km (3.7miles) according to Autroroute  I went via the charity shop and dropped off 2 bags of donations, popped into the dentists and made appointments for me and DD for Friday morning (I need a filling and DD has only been...erm 3 times maximum in 6 years :o ), then I walked to the bank about a mile away, crossed over to the library and spent 40 minutes in there browsing (did come out with 6 books though :p ), walked home via Somerfield where I picked up a couple of bits and then walked the long way home with a rucksack of books on my back and a carrier bag of shopping. Now I need to go and run/have a bath before my meeting after school otherwise I'll end up sitting on my own :o:o:o I know that won't make much sense to peeps but trust me its one heck of a walk along main roads all the way :rotfl:

Worst of all, I didn't wash the dishes before I went and I forgot to put the washing on again :rotfl::rotfl: So I'll run a sink of hot water and do 1 load of dishes, have a bath, do another load of dishes and then the meeting at school - or at least thats the theory :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Laters

Sorry Pigpen :( Actually, why am I saying sorry, I'm the boss, sheesh! I can do whatever you said (can't even pronounce it) with who I like :D jealousy gets you nowhere :p Actually, I haven't done that mirror yet :o oops

Chivas, I am registered with my 'alternative' email addy. Too many emails, I find it scary!

Just spent an hour sorting through my 'piles' of clean laundry, thought had got to the end of the umpteen baskets but nope, found more!!! So said sod it having a break, really warm upstairs as I had the water heater on. Mostly from when I resorted drawers this week, emptied them but didn't get round to putting them back.

AnWsMum I think I might have the same problem, once I put this lot away or try to, might have to resort some more space. Terrible isn't it that when you have to put EVERYTHING away it doesn't fit! :o I banned myself from buying the kids any more clothes last time this happened. Counted they had over 20 school polo shirts EACH!

Thanks for the library reminder Nicki, must rebook my sons books online as I can only find 2 of the three. I think he's hidden it because he kept saying he wanted to keep it.
One day I might be more organised...........

I've signed up for the digest - there are waay too many emails otherwise. I find some of the tips helpful, but I skip the ones with a highly moral tone and the ones selling her products. I do try to do the mission of the day in addition to what's on here, as sometimes it's things I wouldn't have thought of otherwise. She also sends reminders about breast checks etc.

I appreciate that she's got a business to run, and that it's free to subscribe, so I wouldn't put her down for what she's doing. She really does throw herself in heart and soul.

I find this thread a lot more helpful, the banter and support is more like the kind of community environment our mothers and grandmothers had, with people chatting at the shop or over the garden wall. Also, if you follow the lists on here, you'll get things done a lot more quickly - FlyLady's way would take far too long!
