Just skimmed over the posts so far (and blushed!) Re fishnets - Evans do really nice stockings (plain, not fishnet) for the more luscious lady, and stockings are much more economical than tights if you stick to the same brand/colour. Should I really be putting that on this thread? Moving swiftly on...

Time seems to be slipping away from me, I don't seem to be relaxing, but I am getting nothing done. Sigh.

Happy at Home I got my teabags from Whittards (posh teabags, posh prices ) and went mail order through Quidco. I am sooooo wanting Diet Coke. I thought I had got it sorted, but I am so tired and unfocussed.

It's one of those days when you get nothing done. I want one of those days when you get everything done and have time for a long lazy bath!

Galantvr - I hope everything works out for you. Healthcare professionals can terrify the life out of parents, just giving a range of possibilities. Fingers crossed.

Came on here really to try and get motivated. I have hoovered around DS's playgym, washed up, kept my little one fed, changed and cuddled, on third lot of washing, deep cleaned (and I mean deep) the area where DS food is prepared and the front of the fridge & cooker (from yesterday :o) and washed up. And I spilled a load of washing powder all over the kitchen table and the remote for the TV in the kitchen. Sigh.

The pile of ironing is significantly reduced. The problem is that, like AnW'sMum now that I have got it down, I have nowhere to put it! The Salvation Army are coming Thurs - I want to have a load ready for them.

Anyway, I have just generated a load more ironing, so I had better get on with it.

Still Diet Coke free, but struggling today.

    [/strike]
Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • [strike]Wipe the outside of all your small appliances (kettle, toaster etc) [/strike]
    • Clean out your vacuum cleaner, get rid of the hair from the brushes, clean the filters is they are washable and clean anything else you can like the ‘muck bucket’ etc, make sure you leav it to dry thoroughly before putting it back together.
    • Clean out the freezer, I find the vacuum cleaner is good for getting up any crumbs in the bottom or stray peas etc. Defrost it if it needs it.

      Tidy shoes, coats and bags
[strike]Vacuum under furniture (only if you won't hurt yourself doing it, don't want any injuries[/strike])
      Extra Mission:
Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    • Clear one hotspot
    • Clear one shelf, dust and replace items after giving them a wipe over
    • Sort through any magazines or paperwork lying around
    • [strike]
    • Clean fireplace, vacuuming it can help if it is very bad, wiping over with a damp cloth to make sure it's dust free, clean fire aswell if safe to do so (mine comes apart so can vacuum inside the cover)
    • [/strike]
I am slowly gettign these things done. This is my first week. Do the level 2 tasks vary from week to week or are they always the same? I can't quite get my head round cleaning the large French windows every week. Do you all clean windows weekly or am I just a slob?

Oh POOR Hev - please don't give in - I can empathise (I had to do a similar thing a couple of years ago, but with alcohol). What kept me going was the thought of having to do the whole 'giving up' thing again - because I knew I would have to - and why go through the pain barrier twice?

I looked at Whittards - but couldn't see Orange Pekoe. The orange pekoe hunting part of my brain was obviously one of the bits that the gin killed off!!

Oh and the DIET bit of the DC is the bit that makes you crave fat and sugar (hence the chocolate)... it is truly a devil's minion, with nasty spiky horns and a hissy lashy tongue. Keep away!!!!
    Is it home time yet?

Back from picking DD up, calling at supermarket, took plastic recycling. Diud a bit of shopping, called to see DH and tidied up the flowers and putting new ones in. Back home with shopping unpacked.

Caught up here! and about to go and swop the washing round gain and do some MORE ironing while DD surfs the net, she is looking up world records, think I must have achieved the record for most ironing in one day!!!!

Think we have lost TNG in the other thread, must be dreaming of those s**es ;)

Thanks for all the support guys! After 2 doses of brufen she was hop/skipping around Tesco, the only way she can run with one leg slightly bent!! Shes worn out now and took herself to bed for a nap, didn't make pink cupcakes made banana choc muffins instead, warm out of the oven and they were gorgeous!!

Right catch-up time on the dishes and ironing while I can.

Oh... I joined the flylady site but haven't received any e-mails, it was through yahoo groups have I done something wrong?
