    Hi everyone,

I've spent too long reading the posts after work, and regretfully have no time left to do the actual list...:D

    I'll do a bit tomorrow!

Very busy this week. The gardening society I belong to has its annaul big show this weekend, so I shall be sorting out marquees, layouts, tables, displays, plants to sell, etc etc...with the rest of the committee. Have already told the children I'll not be around, and will fill the fridge with healthy things to eat. Bet they walk down to Subway instead...

    Laughed a lot today!

    Have a good day tomorrow.

Got loads done today, not much off the list, has mainly been a filing and chucking paperwork sort of day, but it's all necessary and less to take when we move. I've got a slightly clearer desk and a very full waste paper bin. Two more boxes of paperwork and junk to go!

Just stopped for a refreshing G&T (I'm in one of those moods today).

Had posh Cauliflower cheese, broad beans & spuds for tea (was going to be ordinary Cauli cheese, but thought I'd better use up all the odds and ends in the fridge before tomorrow's Tesco delivery, so it had peppers, mushrooms, asparagus and courgettes in it too). Followed by raspberries DD and I picked at local PYO farm. DD and DS also helped to shell some broad beans, which DS promptly decided not to eat once cooked.

For those of you who do lots of Ebaying, what kinds of things do you sell, and what makes the best profit margin? I've downloaded TurboLister and I'm currently working my way through a box of odds and ends we want to get rid of. Now that I've got the hang of it, I thought I might carry on doing it. Do you look out for things to sell especially, or do you just sell things on when you've finished with them?

Hope you've all achieved everything you wanted to get done today, even if it was only flirting!

aimelister - wow! Those shoes! You will look great. I have shoes that high but haven't worn them for quite a while, I am going to dig them out and enjoy them
shirleypark - thanks for sharing your work flylady routine, it has got me thinking about mine. I teach, so different to your emails. I worked in a "paperless office" just before I became a teacher, couldn't be more different!
michelle - I will get my thinking cap on too and PM you my first draft.

I have been really busy today, but not really on-task (you can tell I'm a teacher!). Spent a lot of time enjoying DS as work is fast approaching. OH, who is one of the worst hoarders I know - he gets sentimental about the most worn out things - has begun to clear out his shed/black hole and has got a pile for freecycle, a charity shop pile and a dump pile. He must have been paying more attention to my efforts in the house than I thought!
My aim tonight is to sort washing and put away, sort two enormous bags of clothes I have been given for DS, and maybe get the ironing board out... it is in the middle of the toy pile at the moment....

Nice to see all the newbies getting on so well, and sorry to hear about the poorly LOs, hope there is improvement tomorrow.

    Still Diet Coke free.

borderlakland - I found I was literally addicted to diet coke. I couldn't go a day without it, and I could easily get through 8 litres (four two litre bottles) in a day. Aspartame really mucks up the body's system for demanding sugars/fats. Caffeine made me permanently tense. I don't want to even think about the damage the fizz did to my teeth and the carbon dioxide will have leached a load of calcium from my bones. My stomach is wrecked from all the acid. Main biggy - it was costing me a fortune!

Thanks for all the support, I really appreciate it. Today has been tough, which shows that it was a really good idea to kick the habit.

Happy at Home I searched the website for orange and found 50 teabags at an extortionate price. Still less than I would pay for a day's supply of diet coke. And you are right - I would hate to have to go through this again.

Angel - hugs to your little one.

Must dash - DS is complaining, just in time to stop me drooling over the men in NCIS. Sigh.

Thanks again to everyone - I really, really appreciate it.
